The property design is modern and tropical with tasteful furnishings. Part of a duplex with your own private swimming pool, a central feature of this beautiful property. The pool side of the property opens up through large glass bi-fold doors, giving you a feeling of space and flow which suits our tropical lifestyle downs to a tee. Find yourself lazing by the pool or socializing on the spacious outdoor deck admiring the beautiful sea views. 2/24 Donkin Lane is located in one of the most sought after central spots in Mission Beach. Absolute beach frontage with stunning sea views and just steps to the ocean, and just a short stroll along the beach or pathway to the shops and restaurants. Upstairs, the main bedroom is a great parents retreat with a large spa ensuite. You can even laze in bed and catch up on some TV Shows. Not to draw straws, the twin bedroom upstairs also with ocean views, has a spacious shower ensuite. The third bedroom downstairs is a queen bedroom, looking out over the pool to the beach. This bedroom has access to the spacious downstairs bathroom laundry. Fully air-conditioned, with an open plan and very comfortable living, dining space and well equipped kitchen you won't want to leave home. If cooking is not your idea of a holiday then treat yourself to dinner in one of our many eateries. Drop down for a coffee and grab the paper in the morning. The village centre has a great fruit and vegetable store, a mini mart and a specialty food/baker shop, plus many wonderful specialty shops. You really can’t go past 2/24 Donkin Lane to make a perfect getaway for the family or fantastic for couples alike. Book now and don’t miss out! The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also a great butcher, small supermarket and newsagent. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the park at Mission Beach. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at Mission Beach. Woolworths Supermarket is just a 5 - 10 min drive from Mission Beach village. It is located at Wongaling Beach. Transport is not really a necessity when you stay at ………... It is just a short stroll to the quaint Mission Beach Shopping Village. It's in an excellent location opposite beach and near shops & eateries. Repairs were required for quite a few items (eg. outdoor shower didn't work, outdoor deck chair broken, door on upstairs bathroom wouldn't close, laundry door hard to close), but when we rang booking service they attempted to fix these quickly, the bathroom door was fixed before we left. A curtain in the downstairs bedroom would be useful since you can look directly into bedroom from pool and lounge room. The really nice bathrooms are upstairs, the downstairs bathroom is combined with laundry and is much simpler/ darker. We feel it was too expensive compared to similar local accommodation. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need and it was lovely sitting on back veranda enjoying the beach view. ##### Lucinda D. Right on the beach and a few minutes walk from Mission Beach restaurants. If you stay here you must get up early one morning and watch the sunrise.
