"The room was inexpensive and comfortable and it was right in town making it easy to walk anywhere. The only real bummer was that this loud machine noise lasted for about 45 minutes in the middle of the night that woke both my husband and me up."

"Charming hotel, staff wee great. Restaurant was understaffed for July 4th but they were able to accomodate us. Highly recommend it but please make sure you have a dinner reservation on busy days. Also, the bar and restaurant have beautiful patios on both sides but they both close at 9pm. There is nothing nearby. Suggestion for management - maybe consider staying open later?"

"Beautiful setting among the redwoods and the resort is adorable- great design and very clean rooms. They are working on renovations which will make the place super fun and great to visit. The lack of five stars is due to our specific visit- just a note on the door at the lobby until 6:30pm, bright light from the street shining in our front door as we sleep, and construction noise too early. They also really need to replace the mattresses- so hard and warped from top much use."

"Wow where to even start! Everything from the first question I had till the day we checked out was absolute perfection. The home itself is so beautiful and well keep. Even the clear labels on the cabinets. Let's you know where everything is but looks so tasteful with the clear labels versus white. The decoration in the home were beautiful, the beds so comfortable, fun bathtub. Beautiful views from both outside deck area and upstairs deck area. They had beach towels available for use, a Bluetooth speaker to use, instructions for everything in the welcome book! Just every detail was paid attention to. Ive stayed a a fee places along the Ca coast. By far this was our favorite trip. Traveled with my husband, 2 kids and eldery mom. Was just perfect for us. We will definitely be back!"

"We had a great time at Shelter Cove. Alex and Kat were excellent hosts. The house is very comfortable and well-stocked. Our kids enjoyed exploring everything around town, especially the tide pools and seals. We found so many treasures on the beach. The Black Sands Bistro has delicious food and a nice dining deck overlooking the ocean. Thanks again for sharing your amazing house. Hopefully we can come back someday!"
