Everything within the resort, including Grand Boulevard, is accessible with the golf cart (with seatbelts in the back seat to keep the kids safe) that is included in the rental. "Salty Sun" is a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom main-floor condo in the heart of Sandestin® Resort with everything you need to have a great time! The interior is professionally designed with all new coastal furnishings, drapes, and artwork. The kitchen, dining room, and both bathrooms were professionally designed and renovated in January and May of 2020\. Gorgeous bay views are enjoyed from the sunroom year-round and guests are able to cart, walk, or bike to Baytowne Wharf, Sandestin® beach, and Grand Boulevard! We will send you a link to our proprietary online guidebook after you book with us. This guidebook was 100% compiled by us, your hosts, and includes 15 main sections of information, 53 sub-sections of content, 45+ activity suggestions, and 50 dining recommendations. We compiled the information in our guidebook from our own experiences, recommendations from our prior guests, and input from Sandestin® Resort locals. We asked our fall guests to try it out and provide feedback and they all loved it - "Thank you, Courtney! Your guide book is amazing! You answered all of our questions plus more, so much useful information for our trip!" We are excited to share it with you! "Salty Sun" is child-friendly. It is situated on the ground floor with a few steps leading to the front door - there are no steps to be climbed to move about the condo. We do provide a booster seat and pack-n-play, but please bring your own sheet for the pack-n-play. Both bedrooms have blackout drapes, making nap time a snap any time of day! There is a king sized bed (with new mattress, platform frame, and headboard) in the huge master bedroom, with a gorgeous view of the bay out the back window. The master bathroom was just renovated in 2020 and has a double-sink, private bathroom, walk-in tile shower, and a giant walk-in closet. There is a new 32" smart TV in the master bedroom! The guest room has 2 twin beds, or a converted king, with new mattresses and bedding! The décor is just delightful and makes guests feel at home! Enjoy a new, 32" smart TV in the privacy of the guest room. Don't forget to request the king bed if that's what you would like! The living room has a sofa and love-seat for kicking back and relaxing in comfort. The living room also has a smart TV - so remember to bring your Netflix/Amazon Prime/streaming credentials with you on your trip. There is more than enough room for everyone to settle in at "Salty Sun." This privately-owned condo has a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped for the meals you want to cook in with new Cuisinart multi-clad pots and pans. A Keurig coffee machine (and a few starter coffee pods) is available. "Salty Sun" is located centrally within the resort of Sandestin® and is on the bayside nestled amongst golf courses, the conference center, and Baytowne Wharf! "Boomin' Tuesdays," the weekly spring/summer fireworks at Baytowne Wharf, are clearly viewed from the sunroom. The beach is a mere 1 mile away (please bring your own beach towels), close enough to cart, walk, or bike over but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle (and noise) of beach life. Walk out the front door and head in any direction towards fun and entertainment! All of the fun is within 1 mile of the front door! The owners take great pride in providing the types of amenities that they, themselves, look for when traveling with their young family. You will find everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy your vacation, including the golf cart, a full-sized washer and dryer in the unit, power stations on each nightstand, beach chairs, great paper products, a pack-n-play, and a booster seat for your use. There was plenty of space, and we loved the remodeled master suite. The large living area was great to relax in after a long day in the sun. The view from the main window was beautiful. We were able to see the fireworks from the Wharf and I could even see dolphins swimming in the bay. This location was so great. We were just down the way from the main pool. There is no way we would stay in this resort without a golf cart, so it was great that they had an awesome one with this property. It's the most fun, convenient way to get around. Take advantage of some of the items left behind in the outdoor closet for your beach and pool days. The umbrella was such a bonus to have! Even though there aren't real places to set the umbrella up at the pool, we made it work with the chairs. That's the only downside to the main pool. Hopefully they add umbrellas/more shade in the future. The condo is stocked with everything you need, and yes, those mini toiletries did smell great! And let's talk about Courtney. She couldn't have been more great! She was so easy to communicate with. She was helpful with any questions we had, hooked us up with a new coffee pot ASAP when the last had broke, and went SERIOUSLY ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping us with a personal matter we had to deal with. She had no obligation in helping us, but did so with such a cheerful and kind demeanor. We hope to return to this or one of her other properties next year! ##### Justin Y. Great condo with all the conveniences you need. Golf cart community is so easy to get around to explore beach, pools or the Wharf. When we arrived - WOW - it had been completely remodeled! Everything was new from the art on every wall to the new smart TVs in each room. It did not look like the condo we happily booked and it was amazingly better! We were truly floored. The golf cart was awesome to have - we didn't drive our car once we were there. Courtney didn't skimp on the cart - there were even seatbelts in the front for my 2-year old. We were a little worried about not having a deck but really preferred the enclosed sunroom because it gave us a lot more space to spread out. The kids could have the living room while we relaxed in the sunroom enjoying the fabulous view of the bay and marina. Do read the reviews from Courtney's other condo because they are spot-on. She is a fantastic host who you can tell enjoys sharing her place and Sandestin with others. She is the most responsive host we've had and she always responds with enthusiasm.
