PARKING ⭐ Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles—2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway behind the house. Additional overflow parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis near the community pool and main entrance. POOLS/HOT TUB ⭐ This home features a private pool in the backyard (heating available Oct–Apr for $65/night + Tax), along with access to 2 community pools in the neighborhood for guests to enjoy. Please note that no alcohol or glass is allowed near the pool. For safety reasons, adding any items to the pool or hot tub, such as bath salts or bath bombs, is not permitted. Any damages or additional cleaning resulting from misuse or additives will incur a $500 fee, including the full replacement cost if necessary. Please review and follow all safety guidelines and use these amenities at your own risk. BEACH GEAR ⭐ You'll typically find beach gear available in the garage for guest use, including items like bikes, beach chairs, an umbrella, and pool/beach toys. Please note that this is a "leave one, take one" setup, so we can't guarantee what will be available upon your arrival. We kindly ask that you rinse off any sand and return the items neatly to the garage before checking out. Bike helmets are not provided, so please be sure to follow safety guidelines and use the gear at your own risk. GRILLING ⭐ A gas grill is available for your use in the backyard, and we'll provide the propane! Please remember to clean the grill after use and keep it positioned away from the house. SECURITY ⭐ In an effort to protect the security of our Homeowners and Guests, there are surveillance cameras on the outside perimeter of the home. Please note the Front Door Surveillance Camera is pointed towards the pool gate and the pool area will be in the frame of the camera coverage. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund and will be held responsible for any damages. PETS ⭐ Absolutely NO PETS. If you bring a pet of any kind, you will be charged an additional $500 per pet and be asked to leave. BOOKING ⭐ You must be 25+ to book The person booking and paying for the reservation must be a group member staying at the property. Read, review, and sign OUR rental agreement within 48 hours of booking and before check-in. No events or parties are allowed. CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT ⭐ Check-in any time after 4 pm CST. Check-out is any time before 10 am CST. EARLY ARRIVALS ⭐We would love to accommodate early arrivals. However, it is nearly impossible during the busy season due to increased traffic delays and a limited workforce. Therefore, if you have an early flight, please plan to book an extra day so that you may check in before 4 pm. If that isn't an option, one of our favorite public beaches is Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach. It offers large bathrooms, plenty of parking, and a beachside restaurant. Our PCB properties have many options for public beach access, but our favorite would be Public Beach Access 54-57, right in front of Pier Park! Since we are always on a tight schedule, we ask that all guests depart promptly at 10 am CST. KITCHEN ⭐Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, bakeware, glasses, mugs, plates, flatware, cooking utensils, coffee maker, and fire extinguisher located under the sink. SMOKING ⭐NO SMOKING on the premises. You will be charged a minimum of $1000 fee for smoking inside the property. REFUNDS ⭐Absolutely NO refunds or discounts due to weather, natural disasters, or any other situations beyond our control. This home was exactly as stated and more. It was clean and beautiful. Comfortable sectional couch plenty of space. A great little play area for little ones. The bunk room actually has 2 full bunk beds with trundles under each one. A pack and play, potty seat and booster seat for the dining room. The pool was so fun with the fountains and beautiful landscaping. There is a sweet little coffee shop we rode bikes to called Badass Coffee. Best strawberry smoothie I’ve ever had. It was a short walk to the private beach but we like to use a canopy which was prohibited so we walked a little further to the public beach which wasn’t a problem just keep that in mind before lugging all your beach day fun items to the private beach. The pool was amazing, the under stairway retreat was a perfect hideaway for kids and the house was in a great location with nice and new amenities. It was just a short walk to the beach or a quick drive to any Destin Destination. Having the bathrooms in each bedroom offered privacy. The kitchen had all the tools needed for keeping folks fed on the go or a place to sit and hang out. The island in the kitchen was a little big for the space, so it limited having too many cooks in the kitchen. Apr 12, 2018 #### Beautiful Home and Location! We just returned from our stay at Salt Life. It is a beautiful home - staged perfectly. The pool is really the thing that sold us on this house. Most homes in this area did not have pools because the beach is so close but it really helped after a day at the beach, to come back and jump in the pool! Pros: everything in the home is new, nice large bedrooms, plenty of space for kids and adults! SUPER short walk to the public beach. Cons: no beach towels (bring your own), there's a lot of construction going on but it was not a big deal, took a bit to get the bikes. Golf Cart only seats 4 people, not 6 as shown in pic. No where to park the golf cart at the beach. Kids room needed some better lighting, so we moved the lamps around. Also the entrance to the beach was busy and you better remember the code or you can't get in or out!! couldn't work the fireplace. The house layout and flow was very comfortable for our group of 14 (8 adults, 6 kids ages 1.5-11). Good room size, personal bathroom for each bedroom. Good location, easy walk to the beach. But the “private” beach was so crowded. We ended up doing the beach service, but were in the third row of beach goers until our last day, after many discussions with the service (La Dolce Vita). Maybe it would help if the house came with one service included so we had a better location on the beach near the water (important to us with small children). ##### Kelly P. The kid cove was wonderful for my 2 year old. They also already had a pack b play setup for us and a little booster seat in the kitchen closet. It’s within walking distance to the beach! We did have an issue with the pool heater constantly going out on us but maintenance was very responsive. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay heated the whole time but we still enjoyed our stay. Disappointing issues. - Freezer not working (ice cream was too soft); food not freezing properly; food safety concerns. - Dirty kitchen (crumbs on counters in multiple places and grime built up all around faucet and sink). - Need more wash cloths. One per person is ridiculous. - Kids room with balcony is a BIG safety hazard. - Broken oven (should have been fixed BEFORE we arrived). - BBQ grill was dirty. - No bbq wire brush to clean grill. - No light bulb in lamp by bed on main floor (hazard). Should have been replaced BEFORE arrival. - Pool alarm was not working upon arrival … BIG HAZARD FOR CHILDREN! - Trash should have been gone upon arrival not left for US to deal with! - Pool hose was not working upon arrival. - Broken top drawer in the dresser of bedroom on main floor. It fell out and hit my hand giving me bruises and a mark (I have a picture of it). Very upsetting. The kitchen was spacious although the one of the ovens went out the second day. The repair guy was out the next day to work in it. We also had a little issue with the pool, but they were responsive In order to correct the problem quickly. The house cleanliness is a 3\. There was cobwebs in a number of the bedrooms and on the lamps where more attention was necessary. Additionally, the floor and throw rugs needed to be cleaned. Rugs had spots on it and walking across the floor after 10 mins the bottom of our feet were dark from dirt. I paid a premium price and I expected the property to be prestine.
