We usually stay along 30A but chose to stay in Sandestin for the first time. The condo is located in a beautiful and well maintained neighborhood. A large pool is several blocks away. You can use the golf cart to go to the beach, pools, Publix, restaurants, shopping and Baytowne Wharf. The place was clean. The layout was great for our family of 5\. There is a scenic view of Choctawhatchee bay out the back windows. IMO the resort beach area was too small and crowded. So we made short drives to several public beaches on 30A. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. When you walk in the door there is a set of stairs you have to go up to get to the main part of the home. The door is on the ground floor but the living quarters are on the second floor. There aren't too many steps for it to be much trouble but I do wish I had known about the stairs just due to having to carry my suitcase and other items - I do have a slight orthopedic issue. Inside the unit you cannot hear any traffic noise. There was a football game during my time there and I could hear the younger neighbors celebrating until the wee hours - but I am the only one in my group that heard the celebrating so no one else was bothered. The view from the back window of the unit and from the master bedroom was wonderful - very peaceful. The golf cart was a giant bonus. I was able to park my car and just zip around in the cart over to dinner and to the beach. I will put this unit on my list of places to return to, we had a great time during our short stay. Apr 30, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great condo This very clean well maintained condo is central to the wharf and with the golf cart you can easily get to the beautiful white beaches within a short ride.
