GULF FRONT CONDO!!! LOTS OF AMENITIES!

This 12th floor, 2BR/2BA condo has magnificent views of the Gulf from both the balcony and master bedroom. There is a renovated open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a granite counter top outfitted with barstools. The master bedroom has a king bed, a view overlooking the Gulf and there is direct access to the balcony. The master bathroom features a stylish, renovated walk-in shower and a double vanity. The guest bedroom has 2 full-sized beds. The guest bedroom is attached to the second bathroom, which has also been updated with an opulent vanity. The condo has a full sized washer and dryer and there is free resort-wide WiFi. The condo is located in the gulfside high-rise building, directly on the beach. Hidden Dunes has 3 swimming pools including a beachfront pool with a view of the Gulf, hot tubs, a fitness center, a lake with a fishing pier, a horseshoe pit, a basketball court, professional quality tennis courts, and outdoor grills. Covered parking. 24-hour guardhouse attendants.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. During Spring Break , the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person 25 years of age for every two (2) persons under 25 years of age.

Good, but could have been great

Online this unit looks great, but is only good due to lack of easy maintenance that hasn't been addressed. Growling & leaking hall bath exhaust, broken LR remote, rusted freezer shelf, dryer doesn't dry no hangers in closet and condensation on the tile floors due to AC being set wrong. After Maint and A/C calls, problem solved, but was obviously already issue as there was dehumidifier running. No instructions to do anything with dehumidifier. for the disappointed

Nice but needs help

The condo is nice, but needs some work. Our stay was at the end of October into early November. It looked like it had a long hard summer. There was mold in both showers, ceiling fans either squeaked or only worked in high speed. Coating on mirrors was chipping. The bed sheets were ill fitted. The property management was super quick to repair a couple of more pressing issues. The property grounds are very nice and well kept.

4th Year in a Row - We Love This Unit

We love staying in this unit, every late September/early October for the last 4 years in a row. It is so nice knowing exactly what to expect year in and year out. The location, quiet, gated community, great pool and easy access to the beautiful white sand beach and crystal clear Gulf. We can't wait to come back next year.

Great experience. Hidden Dunes is a hidden gem! Gated property, super nice security guards staff working everywhere keeping things clean. Beach service was great Elliot is the man! We plan to come back next year! Would recommend for families

Always a fantastic view

We’ve stayed at hidden dunes before, and the views are absolutely spectacular. Without them this wouldn’t have been a positive experience. The condo could’ve used better cleaning and dishes that weren’t completely dirty with pizza stuck to them in the cabinet and a master bedroom with a bed that wasn’t lumpy all over which has been called out in other reviews. Again had a good time, but wouldn’t stay in this condo again.

This is our third year in a row staying in this unit. We love it here, obviously by the repeated stays. Great location, unit so comfortable. Feels like a home away from home. We plan to be back next October as well.

Beach Getaway

We had a lovely week at this gulf front resort condo. The rooms are very spacious and all furniture and decor has been recently updated. Perfect location for a beach getaway for family and friends. Hidden Dunes Resort has everything you could ever want for a vacation. We experienced one minor issue with a shower drain and it was resolved immediately. Kitchen is well stocked for dining in. Suggestion for future guests… bring a throw or quilt/blanket as linens provided are minimum.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Condominium was very nice, loved the location, ease of getting in and out of the property, great view. Only complaint is the beds. I slept in the second bedroom in the bed closest to the bathroom. Every time I moved or turned over the frame rattled a lot and the mattress just wasn’t that comfortable. The pillows were terrible. My golfing buddy was in the master and says that bed was just uncomfortable, felt very lumpy, hard to get comfortable. We plan to book the property again for next October but hope the owners can find it in their budget to replace the mattresses, frames and pillows. All that said, we very much enjoyed our stay at a very fine property.

Over all the stay was great with great views. Place was clean but the air vents where dirty and looked like mold was on them. Elevator was out the first day. 12 flights of stairs a few times is no fun.

First time to Destin and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful beach and loved having pool beachside. We had heard some of Miramar beach properties were still across street from beach but this condo had gorgeous oceanfront view and perfect view of Hilton fireworks on the 4th. Jim at Best Beach was also very responsive when we had questions.

Great Location, Great Views!

Overall, the property was clean. You will definitely have to bring incidentals (i.e., paper towels, TP, dish soap, coffee filters). Know that this is all outlined and identified in the rental agreement so read thoroughly. Would definitely rent this property again!

Great Location on Beach - Needs Updating

The condo is in a great location and the beach is nice, although don't expect to find any sea shells. The condo met our needs but it is in serious need of fixing, updating and cleaning. The front door does not latch; you have to engage safety latch in order to keep door closed (deadbolt is missing.) You can see the dust on the light fixtures, on the air vents and ceiling. If you are tall enough the top of the refrigerator will gross anyone out!!! The counters were sticky and dirty silver ware was in drawer. The bathroom fixtures are showing definite wear and vanities are past usable life. It's like visiting your cousins, who are not great house keepers and don't consider replacing (or fixing) broken items. Dining room rug is stained, patio cushions are moldy and the deck makes weird crackling noise when you walk on the right side. This is definitely a cash-cow, not someone's home. The sliding door in bedroom doesn't work. Make sure to eat your Wheaties before trying to open sliding door in living room. General maintenance would be helpful. Nice place to stay, just look past all the negatives. A bit over priced for what we got. BUT... we were right on the beach and could hear the waves crash into the surf!
