There was a beautiful view from the balcony and bedroom window, and it was close to restaurants and a grocery store. A nice starter set of items was provided by the rental agency as well. We enjoyed the pools, and the beach chair service was wonderful. The grounds of Edgewater are beautiful and well maintained. It was so nice to stay in a condo that had an abundance of towels haha! The only thing that would have been nice to have with our young kiddos would have been a safety lock/latch on the top of the door. Not at all because we felt unsafe and were worried about someone breaking in, but because my kids (ages 4 and 2) knew how to open the door and there was no way to lock it to prevent them from escaping the condo. Seeing the ocean from your bed in the master bedroom was one of the most wonderful things to wake up to! The place is supplied more like a hotel, so for a longer stay come prepared with extra soaps for the kitchen, laundry, and make sure to bring your own coffee. The condo was decently clean but felt like it could have been a bit better, particularly the floors. We wished there would have been more descriptions about what was provided in the condo so that we didn’t need to pack as much to bring with us. There was an awesome kurig, fan, cooler and kids things already in the condo which was really nice ! We enjoyed the pool and the funnel fries at the snack shack at the pool ! I have stayed at so many places over the years, but I must say that this is the cleanest condo that I have been to. When we arrived all of the couch cushions were sitting upright and you could see that they were all cleaned prior to our stay. If you walked through the condo there was NO dirt or grit on the floors. The location could not be any better for a group of ladies wanting to go to the beach or shop. The decor was beautiful and well taken care of, all of the beds were very comfortable!i plan on booking with this same condo for next year! ❤️ ##### Sherry B. I’m always concerned with the balcony when it comes to my young kids and it was only one floor above the ground and we were still able to enjoy the view while feeling safe with the kids outside. It is also right by the elevators and stairs and has easy access to the pool and beach. Loved the condo and all it had to offer. It was very comfortable and updated. Would stay here again. We requested another set of sheets for the king bed during our stay and it came immediately. Compass resorts were very accommodating. It could use some updating , toilet jiggled and bed sheets felt old. (Balled up in places) The fridge had a cross bar busted and our milk fell out .. The washer and dryer were older however , again , they washed and dried the clothes very well. The furniture had spots on it. Again it didn't mean you couldn't sit on it. Jul 10, 2022 Disliked: Check-in #### Wasn’t pleased with a few items Refrigerator/freezer didn’t cool well and once we noticed all of our ice cream and frozen treats were Ruined. The lunch meet we couldn’t trust. Once we called they were very nice but only brought an ice chest with 3 bags of ice and we had to refill with ice and they never checked back with us. Shower in master shouldn’t be a tall step in bath tub hard for people with bad knees. Wasn’t sure why we had to pay $400 extra using VRBO and when I called no one could advice me.
