This Gulf View, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is newly decorated and is just a few steps from the private beach gate to the beautiful white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom features a Queen bed. The second bedroom has 2 twins, and a sleeper sofa is in the living area. This second floor unit features a balcony overlooking a grassy area. In addition to a washer and dryer in unit, available entertainment includes a Blue Ray player and an iPod docking station. Maravilla Resort in Miramar Beach is a 33 acre, gated resort featuring the largest private beach in the area — 2.5 acres of private pristine beach! Maravilla Resort has family-oriented vacation rentals. It is a relaxed resort community, and it is less crowded than the downtown Destin area. Many folks enjoy the view of the ocean from the beachside pool, and there is another large pool is located by the clubhouse for a relaxing day of sun! Maravilla features "low rise condo buildings" as opposed to "high rise condo buildings." Low-rise condo buildings are more family-friendly, especially with small children and seniors, while still having the benefit of an elevator. It is easy to walk to the pools and beach. Please note: renters are not allowed to drive golf carts in the Maravilla community. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017\. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. The owner was very responsive. It smelled clean when we arrived. Cons: There were so many roaches, which creeped my whole family out. There were babies. There were adults and every size in between. When I called about the roaches, they sent someone out to spray promptly which I appreciated. That unfortunately didn't solve the problem, so i texted the second day. They promptly sent someone out to spray again. Again, appreciated. Still didn't solve the problem. They really need to get the bug problem under control. Other than that, I loved it. A medium beach cooler would also be a nice addition to add to the condo. Overall, we loved the area, hot tub, heated pool and gated complex. There are some older but clean vanities in bathrooms. The location was perfect for a family trying to stay away from the younger crowds. The pool was way too cold for our liking, but the gulf was perfect!! The room had everything we needed for our stay. Having a washer and dryer in the condo is always a plus for me. A few roaches were spotted but it was definitely not because the rooms were not clean. Everything was spotless. ##### Gypsy B. We were pleased with the size and how well it fit my family of six. It's a little outdated and the carpet isn't the greatest (felt a little greasy due to humidity and I'm sure lots of bare feet walking on it). All of the appliances in the kitchen worked perfectly and the washer and dryer were in great condition as well. The bedding covers had a few stains on them which is always a turn off, but we took them off and used the extras that were provided in the closet. Overall, we were very pleased with the place although we may look into a different unit within the complex for our next stay. ##### DeeAna R.
