The Space: Welcome to Born To Sun! “Born to Sun” is a stunning 5,500 sq. ft. luxury home featuring 9 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a private pool/spa and an outdoor summer kitchen! This beautiful home was completed in 2016, and can accommodate up to 31 guests comfortably. All three levels of this home are easily accessible with the use of the private elevator. There is ample bedding throughout the home with 7 King suites, 1 Queen Suite and a custom-built bunk room for 7\. A Brunswick pool table is located on the second floor, and the media room located on the third floor is perfect for kids in the evening. “Born to Sun” boasts one of the largest private pools in the Frangista Beach community. The pool is approximately 30’ x 20’. The attached spa offers built-in seating for 8\. Swim up to the underwater bar stools or seat-ledges and relax at the in-water table. This is the perfect vantage point for the 60” TV located in the outdoor kitchen. You can also enjoy the pool deck while sunbathing on the 8 comfortable lounge chairs provided. At night, the beautiful LED lights illuminate the pool, making for a truly mesmerizing view. The back area is enclosed with a fence for privacy. You have the (most awesome) Sonos surround sound system to enjoy during your stay! It is a full-home stereo experience, that you can adjust the volume throughout each room/area of the home and out by the pool, from your phone! Let’s get the party started, shall we? From the app, you can connect to the existing iTunes account or browse through hundreds of pre-loaded or pre-selected playlists. It's the ultimate listening/feel good experience, with Sonos! The summer kitchen has two KitchenAid gas grills, perfect for cookouts! There is also a commercial ice maker which can produce up to 200 lbs. of ice during the day. There is a commercial grade margarita machine (available for rent) located in the summer kitchen and is perfect for making drinks on a hot day! This machine also makes delicious non-alcoholic drinks for the little ones! Welcoming you into the home is a spacious living room with 12’ ceilings. Relax and unwind on the sofa and chairs for while enjoying the beautiful views of the pool area. The dining area offers seating for 10 at the table, and 4 more at the breakfast bar. There is additional outdoor seating and tables located in the summer kitchen. Continuing on the first floor, you will find the gourmet kitchen. Adorning the kitchen are the beautiful quartz countertops and a generous sized island that is perfect for preparing large meals. There is abundant cabinet space for storage. The combination of the stainless-steel appliances and Cambria quartz countertops create an elegant atmosphere. The elevator entrance is located just off the kitchen in the main hallway leading to the pool, laundry, and full bathroom. Completing this level, you will find a Queen Suite and a full bath just off the sitting area. Upon entering the second floor, you will find the game room featuring a Brunswick pool table, large flat screen TV and a high-top table and chairs. There is also a large balcony off the game room, overlooking the pool for relaxation. Completing this level are 4 large King Suites, all with private baths. One of these King Suites includes 2 sets of twin bunks in the room. On the third floor you will find a media room with a large TV and a gaming console. There is a bath shared between the bunk room and media room. This floor also has 3 additional King Suites with private baths. The Master King Suite features 2 sets of custom twin bunks. There is a custom-built bunk room with 1 set of full-over-full bunks, 1 set of twin-over-twin bunks, and 1 individual twin bed (Sleeps 7). Born to Sun is in the Frangista Beach community which consists of mostly vacation rental homes where families come to vacation and spans approximately 4 blocks. The neighborhood has a 400-yard private beach which you must have a code to access. Since we did all of our own meals, it was nice having ample kitchen space for cooking. The backyard pool was wonderful and the kids enjoyed it morning to night! It’s nice to have a private beach since the public beach nearby was packed during the day. The weather wasn’t nice when we stayed but having a big pool saved the trip. All the kids and adults loved the pool. I loved the fact that the management was just a text away. They responded very quickly and tried to accommodate us as best as they could. The downsides were the house internet was very flaky and some bedrooms had no wireless internet access at all. Additionally, I paid for use of the elevator for my elderly parents and one guest with a disability but the elevator was very difficult to use and stopped working completely half way through the stay. ##### Jennifer V. Jan 18, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Excellent Location and Very Well Maintained house First the great things about the property. \* Excellent Location \* Big House with tons of rooms \* Great Pool and Jacuzzi area \* Big kitchen with lots of utensils \* Nice Barbeque and outdoor kitchen with Icemaker \* Parking for up to 7 cars \* Everything is close to the house \* Downstairs pool bathroom with Steam is like heaven... everyone enjoyed that a lot Now, not so great things and areas of improvements \* Very small living and dining room for the house sized for 30 people \* Pool Table needs complete replacement. The table, Cue Sticks, and balls are all completely worn out. We were looking for some great games, but could hardly play any \* The game room on the 2nd floor is oddly located. If you want to play games late at night, you can't, since there are 4 bedrooms all around the pool table area \* It would be better to move the pool table in the downstairs bedroom, converting it into the game area \* They need to add more trash bins for the property, we struggled to place the trash by the end of 3rd day since trash is picked only once a week. \* I understand this is covid times, but the checkout ought to be at least by 10 AM. 9 AM checkout with these many folks and kids is difficult. I would have given it full 5 stars, but for the worn-out pool table and the smaller living/dining area, I would rate it at 4.5 stars. ##### Birendra K. It has all you need for a fun gathering. We went as group of 4 families. Its right next to beach with private access. Its had big heated pool. It has enough room for everyone. Everything is excellent n clean. We felt the pictures listed in VRBo are not well taken and condo looks slightly outdated in pictures, but in real its very updated. Please re shoot the pictures. Having said all these good things there are just few suggestions like pool not getting heated enough, bunk beds doesn't have fan or airflow, would be nice if they provide elevators for free instead of additional charge. otherwise this is the place to go for large group. Only one issue with the jets in the hot tub, one call and it was resolved quickly! One recommendation would be for the owners to get a deck box and fill it with beach and pool towels, as they ask you not to use the bathroom linens for the beach, yet don’t supply beach towels. ##### Loren P. The house is well laid out and provided ample room for everyone. The pool was the focal point of our stay with the kids spending many hours playing and splashing around. Plenty of refrigerator space, laundry on first and second floor and 2 dishwashers kept up with everyone's needs. Lots of comfortable sleeping space and the house was pretty quiet even when the teens were still up. Very easy access to the beach as well. First off, the staff at Born to Sun was very welcoming from the get go. It’s always nice to know there’s people out there that go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are well taken care of. We had a large group stay and the house did not feel crowded at all. From it’s huge and luxurious kitchen area to it’s very spacious rooms, this place did not disappoint one bit! Not to mention the beautiful pool and nice lounging areas outdoors. The short walk to the beach was also a huge plus for us. We would definitely recommend Born to Sun to anyone looking for a nice vacation home in the Miramar/Destin area. ##### Veronica A.
