Discounted Golf Cart This yard is one of the largest in the area. Only two blocks to the beach, and walking distance to world famous Pompano Joe's restaurant, it is freshly remodeled and ready for your perfect vacation. It has a huge pool, jacuzzi, outdoor patio, and everything you need in the backyard. The freshly remodeled kitchen opens up right to the backyard where you can swim in the large 30 X 16 pool, relax in the hot tub which seats up to 8, or sit by the firepit at night while relaxing in the tropical setting. It is truly an amazing luxury paradise. There is also an outdoor grade ping pong table, a huge gas fire pit, and hammocks and seating galore in the backyard. The setting is secluded on a private street and the lots are double the usual size of other homes in the area. Most pools in the area are less than half the size of this one! They are like Vegas sitting pools. This is a full size swimming pool for all the family or families to enjoy. And the hot tub spills out right into the pool to warm it up. Inside the house has five bedrooms and three baths and an open kitchen and living room area. Off to the kitchen and living room area is a separate dining room area to have family meals together. The bedroom layout of the home is as follows: one master bedroom with a king bed and attached bath. One bedroom with a king bed and another with a king bedroom and a separate bathroom to share for those two bedrooms. A bunk bed room with four full beds and a jack and jill bathroom which connects to a bedroom with a queen bed. The great thing about this area is that you are walking distance to the beach and restaurants such as Pompano Joes. And if you don't want to go to the beach you can relax in the oversize backyard and enjoy your privacy and seclusion on this private street with amazing backyard amenities and luxury setting. For larger parties the house next door, Emerald Haven, is also available. Talk to us about booking both houses together for large parties. Pool heating available upon request. $350 per week plus tax ($50 per day plus tax). Pool heat must be selected for the duration of the stay and is not available for partial amounts of days. Pool heating highly recommended for mid October through mid May for maximum enjoyment of property. Jacuzzi available 6pm-10pm on timer year round. Pack and play and high chair available upon request. GOLF CARTS: We have a fleet of discounted golf carts for our homes. We bought them because rental companies were charging $165/day. We offer them for between $300 and $495 per week (+taxes and processing), depending on time of year. They are six-seater electric luxury golf carts with leather and outdoor built-in outdoor speakers for playing music. If interested, please inquire regarding availability. REFUND POLICY: If you wish to cancel we will attempt the dates and will refund you what we book it for if it is outside the cancellation window. If you need to cancel please make sure to contact us as soon as possible so we can rebook the time period. COVID POLICY: Should the house be unavailable due to a government imposed shutdown, you would get a 100% refund. \*\*Travel Insurance is recommended during the hurricane season of June-October. We stayed at the house next door last year which was also fantastic. When it was not available this year we found this house next door was available. The backyard is amazing. Kitchen was very well stocked. Kids loved the bunk room! Plenty of towels. Bring beach towels and blankets if you prefer blanket on beds. It squeezed very loudly with any movement making it impossible for a restful sleep ( but we Made due using the bottom bunk (very comfortable mattresses). Comfortable walk to beach! Any issues that arose they were completely on top of it! There were 7-8 of us that stayed and everyone was comfortable. The pool was incredibly refreshing on days that were so hot. Most of the beds are on the firmer side, but the one bedroom in the back not attached to the bathroom had a softer bed (which I chose). The beach was absolutely within walking distance. We didnā€™t get the golf cart (even thou we wanted one) and we made it work. Our family all enjoyed our stay. We have 6 grandchildren. The two older girls 10 and 11 stayed in the room with the double bed. The boys 9and 8 stayed on the top bunk. The both little girls 5 stayed on the bottom bunk! It was perfect having all the kids in the same area. They shared a bathroom as well. The 3 adult couples had their own rooms! We had the masterā€¦. The grandparents! It was great! The backyard was awesome! The pool was so much fun! We grilled out several times. The kids played ping pong, and water games! They loved the basketball hoop! The jacuzzi was wonderful! We sat out at night and watched the hockey play offs by the fire pit! The lighted pool was great for night time swimming. Weā€™ve stayed in this area before and itā€™s a great spot in Destin. Overall the staff was nice to work with and I do feel they tried to accommodate us. I imagine their hands are tied as they donā€™t own the property. A few issues: 1. We learned as we landed there was no AC at the house and it was broke. Iā€™ve been a homeowner for a longtime and if I wanted to have air conditioning in my home, I can make it happen. Iā€™m not sure what the issue was with the AC but it was never fixed during our stay. 2. They accommodated us with a portable AC unit, window units, & fans. SO LOUD. 3 While we stayed: Tree trimming, vacuum replacement, measuring the property. Bad timing 4 The pool area was not as tidy as it should have been. Trash left, needed to clean the grill before we could use it. Skimmed the pool as well upon arrival. 5 The bunk room room so hot and unusable. Overall, we would stay here again. Because I love the location. To say we were inconvenienced is an understatement. I booked the house so my trip was not always fun as I had to manage the entire families expectations since I was the POC. I was very open with the management team and they said they were communicating with the owner my issues. They did credit us $500 and said if we visited we can be ā€œtaken care of.ā€ I would visit and stay at the property again. But I know my family who joined would not come Back to this property as they told me often. This is why I gave the house 4 stars. ##### Emily O. On the flip side the master bedroom plus the bunk room side of property had no TV at all week the cable wasnā€™t working and no Roku. The queen room and bunk room was extremely hot all hours of day, no wash clothes, parking for two vehicles only listing said 4 vehicle parking no way, pool area had trash left on ground, No dish washing soap, bathroom soaps or wash pods. Our host was always helpful and always responded to my questions during our stay. The lack of preparation and amenities for our stay I feel was ignored. We had 6 adults and 6 children. Perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Even had a big pot to hold 13 ears of corn! The pool was large and a beautiful back yard. The pictures of house inside and out are truthful, you will not be disappointed. The walk to the beach is 2 1/2 blocks. Entrace to beach is right by Pompano Joe restaurant. ##### Debbie D. Everything was just as represented on the VRBO listing - the place was clean, and the pool and hot tub were great. Better yet, the owner and the rental company were super responsive to questions and a couple minor issues and went above and beyond what might have expected. My granddaughter was in the pool everyday and the adults were in the hot tub every night. It was a ten minute walk to have your feet in the sand or a 3 minute drive. We have stayed at other rentals on our family vacation and this one had a lot more cooking pans and utensils than the others. The backyard is amazing and the house was plenty big enough for our group of 13 (6 kids, 6 adults and 1 infant). We also loved that it was such a short distance to the beach!
