During this time, the pool and pool deck will be closed. For the duration of the project, guests will have access to the Phil Hummel Pool and NEW Audubon Pool on the north side of the resort. A 15% discount is automatically applied to the advertised rental rate for the pool closure inconvenience. THIS BEACHFRONT STUDIO IS TRULY A GEM! The end unit, 6th floor location is the perfect place to enjoy views of our white sand beaches, emerald-green waters and spectacular sunsets. Our unit offers a fully equipped kitchen complete with a drip coffee maker and a k-cup coffee maker. In addition to seating at our charming window seat, the dining table offers seating for four. Outdoor bbq grills are located near the pool area. Sleeping accommodations include a king bed plus a queen sleeper sofa. The bathroom is updated with walk in shower. For your convenience, there is a washer/dryer in the unit, and wifi is complimentary. Guests can also enjoy complimentary tram service or cruise the resort in their very own 6-seater golf cart. The Beachside II pool is seasonally heated, and there is direct access to the beach via a private boardwalk. Guests can rent beach chairs and umbrellas from the beach hut, bring them from home or are welcome to use the umbrella and two beach chairs provided in our unit. Tram service to The Village of Baytowne is included. The Resort offers something for everybody. For the golfer, there are 4 championship golf courses. For the fitness buff there are 11 miles of paved pathways for bicycling or jogging, 14 tennis courts, basketball courts and an on-site fitness center. The 98 slip marina will satisfy the water sports enthusiast with kayak and jet ski rentals. Climb aboard the Solaris dinner cruise boat for an extraordinary evening of live entertainment and fine dining set against the backdrop of a picturesque sunset and shimmering waters. Shoppers will delight in a variety of specialty boutiques at The Village of Baytowne, Grand Boulevard or the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. For those in need of a little rejuvenation a full service spa is available. Jolee Island offers nature paths, rock climbing, water slides, pirate ships, and tree houses. The host was very helpful and the condo was clean. Good for a couple or small family. The added bonus was the golf cart that came as part of the rental! We liked the location, close to everything we wanted to see. Though there was renovations going on to the building, it was not too distracting or noisy and the workers were polite. Loved the golf cart, took it to Publix and Starbucks every morning! Lol. The Sandestin property and all the acres that they have to offer is just wonderful and SO secluded and secure. 5 stars for location BUT unfortunately the beach sucked due to the mass congestion. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to get a seat with your own beach chair and umbrella and not be right on top of another family. The property chair rentals are absolutely way too overbearing for such a beautiful beach. They ruin the beach in my honest opinion. We had to drive to the state park beach 4/5 nights spent to enjoy some space. But aside from the beach being horrible, everything else was just so perfect and I would still choose to come back but just drive to the beach that offers more space and peace. If crowded beaches don’t bother you, then you would love this property. But if your like me, you’d find to agree with what I stated above. Denise was an awesome host, and very communicative and even granted us an early check in for our early arrival flight. I received the room code before I received the gate code, but we figured it out. The elevator closest to my room was out of order, so there was a wait for elevators at times. I asked one of the staff members what the code was for the stairs, which helped as we had the option to take the stairs. We loved the location, view, beach, and all the amenities. The unit was as advertised but what you couldn’t see was the condition of the bed it was the worst bed I have ever slept in, it was very uncomfortable with no support at all to where we opted to sleep on the pullout sofa bed which was slightly better. This was the reason for the 4 stars. We would come again but will not stay in this unit again unless the mattress is replaced. The bathroom shower was slow to drain but wasn’t too bad. Perfect spot for two people - great views of the beach and easy access to the beach. Condo was very clean, and nice appliances. Bathroom is small but the shower is very nice, bed is very good. Location is nice, within the Hilton Sandestin property. Things that were not great: One roll of toilet paper - one. No extra trash bag. No Kleenex, would have thought there would be at least one box. Beach umbrella, as mentioned by others, is missing the part that goes into the sand therefore not usable. You'll want an umbrella on the beach and can rent one but they're pretty pricey. One of the beach chairs is broken but there are 3 others. It's a bit of drive back into Destin for dining options but not a deal breaker for sure. The beach is beautiful, and the water is amazing. Very quiet location - would recommend for 2 people, 4 adults would not work. Possible for a couple with small children. ##### Dale S. There was a small hiccup during check in, but the property manager immediately helped us solve the issue. The place was clean and well stocked, and the view was unbelievable. Property manager was very helpful when we arrived to checkin. Propert was very clean aside from the construction equipment. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Cant say anything about the view- our balcony was boarded up and unaccessable. Luckily we chose the beach chair service (quite pricey), otherwise we would not have had anywhere to sit on the insanely crowded beach. I believe if there was no construction going on, the view and location would have offset our disappointment with crowds at the beach, but as I mentioned before, we took a chance. ##### Paul R. The unit was exactly as described. We had no issues during our stay. The beach was more crowded than expected and that was disappointing. We paid for chair service and all chairs were very close to each other and those who brought their on setup were right in front in you.
