Stayed there back in September. Seen there was a charge on my credit card a couple weeks later and immediately called to ask what it was for, they told me it waa because we were smoking weed in the room, which was by far the worst accusation! When trying to get things cleared up the manager kept asking to call back everyday for about 3 days. I was so upset because, 1) No one came or called my room to let me know that this accusation was made although apparently the whole floor complained of the weed smell. 2) No one said anything to me at check out and I also even needed to go back a second time a couple hours later because i forgot something in the room and even still, no one said a thing to me about it! So after many back and forth phone calls and me also reminding to check the cameras to see that we went outside to smoke cigarettes, they agreed to refund me what was charged which he said would take 5-7 business days. After 3 weeks going on a month i called because i still did not see the refund i called once again, he said it showed it was refunded on their side and it had to be my bank, I'm from canada as well so maybe they thought they could get away with it?? Thankfully my credit card it protected and they dispute and fight for my funds if its wrongfully charged. So all in all, what an aweful experience with this hotel and will never stay there again!!! And i didnt even receive an apology for this accusation.
