Sketchy at best
Out of order elevator, used/opened toiletries (soap) and questionably clean (possibly used?) towels. Hole in corner of mattress (possible drug hiding spot???) Just bought by another company according to desk clerk so maybe will improve under new ownership.

Keep driving! The entrance is unattended at any hour, you must dial staff (living on premise of course). There is a roll up door over the host stand like the dang bus terminal and you can see why. Rooms are filthy and unkept, maintenance is minimal if done at all. Housekeeping is NOT CHANGING LINENS. I found a bloody dried cotton ball in the sheets of the bed that had also stained the sheets, don't know how long ago it got there but someone just pulled up the sheets. The floor was also filthy, I had the maintenance man sweep up a handful of filth. I got another room only to find that the toilet looked like someone peed in in and never flushed and feces covered the whole bowl. Staff said it looked like a bunch of chewing tobacco, likely was but pure filth that housekeeping didn't even care t clean. Got a 3rd room the manager cleaned herself and it was ok. To be fair, she was asled to relocate here and run the place with no budget, no control and no support. She is trying but without support it won't happen here. Move on if you value your heath or marriage.

Location was great for us but their ice machine was broke, towels were stained, no coffee pot in room, mini fridge FROZE my insulin pen and the complementary Coffee wasn’t ready til AFTER 9am, beds were not made up for us and looked like the beds were made by a blind person.

Special Olympics Weekend
The hotel was very clean. The hotel was experiencing problems with their HVAC but our room's air conditioning worked great. Room was very comfortable. The room felt up to date and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised given the problems with the HVAC and the number of people staying at the hotel for events in the area. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

No hot water!
No hot water in the shower but hot water in the sink?? This motel 6 is a bit dated. The secure window for night checkins and roll-top desk cover over the registration desk area gives the appearance that security is an issue. Room was clean and bed soft but ok. Low noise even though near the highway and truck stop. Lumpy pillows need replacing. Alternatives: There is another Motel 6 in Bloomington IL which is where I will now go instead. The one in Urbana IL is new and very nice. Drury Inn IL in Urbana is also nice.

Do Not Recommend; Worst Stay I've Ever Had
Avoid this hotel at all costs. Upon arrival to my room, the door was open and I was not sure if someone had been in there. Peaked around all corners to make sure the coast was clear. Sheets were dirty, pillows looked like they had just been used, and towels were folded loosely and stained. Did not have a blanket... just top sheet and bed dress along with a cut piece of scratchy wool (not even a blanket). Left after an hour and continued my drive. Do not recommend for anyone!

Horrible. Upon trying to check in about 11:03 PM I was left standing alone for several minutes while being ignored by the desk clerk. On the fourth try she finally answered the phone and abruptly told me the last room had been sold over two hours ago. I assured her I had a room reserved so she came down & checked me in. When I finally made it to my room the door was open, the window was open with no screen, it was 42° inside, the full trash cans were sitting on the counter, there were no towels/washcloths, & there was a used bar of soap in the bath & candy on the floor. One of my worst hotel experiences ever.

We reserved two rooms and when we got there they couldn’t find the reservation than after they straightened the error out we were given a room that wasn’t cleaned. Than was given a replacement room the lady at the front desk had personally checked the room prior to giving it to us.the bathroom of the replacement room had toilet paper on the floor with some type of needle.needless to say we didn’t stay.

Landscaping was all cut down or dead. Walked in and had to ring bell to get someone to desk around 7 times. Girl that waited on me had a tank top & shorts on. Front desk was worn and faded. Paint & wallpaper chipped. Desk/dresser in room scratched. I know ppl say well it’s just a place to sleep for the night, but this place is so run down and old. I doubt it’s ever been updated. How does the Motel 6 ever allow this place get so run down and dingy.

We tend to choose Motel 6 over other chains, because they are always relaxed about dogs. This was one of the poorer examples of the "brand". Hot water was there in the morning - but not at night when I wanted to take my shower. We heard people in the surrounding rooms all night. Police patrolled the carpark a few times during our 1-night stay. The receptionist we checked in with was plain rude. The one who was on in the morning was very friendly and helpful. Not sure if that's enough info, but the rude one was blonde and the nice one had dark hair. Finally, as we know that many places don't serve coffee just now, we brought our own coffee-maker on the trip ... but forgot to bring cups. They refused to even give us a plastic cup. I thought that was a bit ridiculous. (We got it from the gas station across the road, but still!)

So. I travel for work every week. So I've stayed in some real dumps and shady places. This place isn't shady but it's pretty gross. First there was a rotten strawberry sitting on the safe behind the counter on check in. Yes. You read that right. The elevator out but I think the owner doesn't want to pay the electricity. Then the hall ways were dirty with dirt and gravel the whole week from wind mill construction guys like myself. Then I went to plug in the fridge and open it up. Wow. The bottom was covered in mold. BUT the freezer had a melted snicker bar drum stick and literally an inch of mold. I was only one of two guests all week so that tells me I should have read the reviews first.

It was disgusting and nasty inside. Can not believe the room had not been cleaned with all the Covid-19 problems going around. Hotel seemed to not know how to check in from a reservation through the app. Overall experience is horrible.

This was the only hotel in this area. When checking in it felt very sketchy. It was very dirty and run down. Woman that checked us in was nice though.

Did not expect fancy for the but just plain awful!
The girl at checkin was nice but that is where it ends. No upkeep inside or out. Linens stained and very thin. Could not print a receipt for stay in morning. No breakfast. Will never stay here again. We had stayed there in the past but were shocked at status of motel. Ordered online and were just plain stuck.

I get no frills, but holy moses
Lady at hotel was WONDERFUL! However: Second floor smelled of stale urine Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable Blankets were the equivalent of tissue paper Had a choice of 77 degrees or 57 degrees. Towels were thin as paper towels No shampoo or conditioner No coffee in room or downstairs I don’t think our sheets were changed from the last tenants, they were dirty and rumpled. Attempted to call the front desk four times with no answer, went downstairs and the front desk was gated.

Everythink wse better than expected . the rooms were clean, modern. and smelled fresh all the time.💧 go blue.

The faucet in the bathroom has been leaking so long that it discolored the sink. When I went to the check in/out counter at 5:45am not only was no one there by the office was locked.
