It was super clean, and the location was great. We just had to walk downstairs, and we were on the Main Street filled with fun shops and restaurants! The space is cute but small. The bathroom has no counter space to put your toiletries and the water pressure is low. The toilet needed to be flushed twice for a good result. There was also hair around the bathroom that was definitely not ours. The location was both good and bad. It was good because you were right downtown, near shops, restaurants and the lake. It was bad because the building is on a corner with a traffic light so there was a lot of noise. Unfortunately for us, there was a motorcycle rally on the weekend so we heard lots of loud music and motors. Minocqua itself is a cute tourist town but most shops are closed on Sunday. I must mention that this apartment is on the second floor with no elevator so it is not for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, our stay was satisfactory except for the bathroom issues. The location couldn’t have been better — it was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, and everything the downtown area has to offer. The space itself had a warm, cozy feel and was well-appointed for a comfortable stay.The only downside was the noise from neighbors — they were up late and also early risers, which made it a bit tough to get a full night’s sleep. Of course, that’s not something the owner can control, but it’s worth noting for light sleepers or anyone for whom rest is a top priority.Overall, a great spot for convenience and charm.
