Please instruct your stafff to show a picture of the parking garage where Residence Inn patrons are allowed to park for free. There are multiple parking lots in the area . The staff at the front desk had given high level instructions but it did not help. We ended up parking in the wrong garage.
Our stay at Residence in was wonderful. We attended a play at the Orpheum, which was easily accessible via the skyway.
Reception was friendly, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good.
The hotel is very centrally located- plenty of great restaurants close by and the USBank stadium and Target Center within easy walking distance. All that was amazing. The room was perfectly comfortable. It’s adequate although very utilitarian. The cleaning staff was phenomenal. The room was beautifully taken care of and we had everything we needed. The free breakfast was good. The hot food was appreciated. We were sorry to see there wasn’t a washer and dryer in the room… the description read laundry facilities and that was a pay laundry- which was fine - just not what I expected! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful although we did rent a car on our last day and the lady at the front desk told us the parking garage was full and we couldn’t park there. The website describes parking as available and lists it as a perk of the hotel. Of course when we actually returned with the car we were given a parking pass without questions and the parking lot was literally empty. I’m not sure why that lady told us we couldn’t park there but she was the same one to greet us (or actually not greet us) upon check out. She didn’t ask how our stay was or wish us a good trip or a good day. Not sure what we did to irritate her but it definitely dampened our opinion of our overall stay.
They have done a first-class renovation of the rooms since I was last here in 2012, with luxurious touches and amenities. The breakfast and service could use improvement, but hardly worth complaining about. I would love to stay here again.
Couldn’t find the parking area. Ended up in a parking garage at a bank. Had to pay $9 to get out however the doors to exit were locked. We were locked inside for 30 minutes. I was crying. Front desk wasn’t any help. We couldn’t find hotel entrance gps took us on the other side of the block. Need to let people know where to park. Show a picture of the parking area.
It was a nightmare!!!!!
Room was spacious and clean. Nicely appointed kitchen in the room.
The temperature of the room was hard to control. It was too hot, and despite attempts to turn down the heat, the room refused to stay at less than 74 degrees.
Staff had no energy for giving suggestions or helping us. They were barely friendly. We were on our own in a part of city we we werent familiar with without a guide.
Check in was a breeze. We were greeted by friendly smiles at the front desk, and they were very helpful to answers our inquiries. Our room was so spacious, nice and clean. Would stay again for sure.
The room was much more than we had expected at that price point. Very nice and clean with many amenities. Walked to the Target center and local bars for food and drink. Would definitely stay again!
The breakfast was good, and the staff helpful. However, I am having problem with the administration; I checked out over 48 hours ago, incurred no extra charges, but my deposit is yet to be credited to my account. I offered my card at checkout but was told it was not needed, and I even had to request for my receipt.
Our stay was not great. Breakfast food was not great. The light in our bathroom burned out on our 2nd day and we asked them to fix it multiple times and it was never fixed. Staff was not friendly the entire time we were there. We had to cancel the last day of our trip (before the trip started and before the cancellation period was up) due to a personal emergency and instead of our trip being cheaper by 1 day, the rates for each day were adjusted to make up for the day they lost so we paid the exact same amount for 4 days that we would have for 5. No one at the front desk was helpful with any of these issues and multiple employees were actually quite rude.
Would definitely not stay here again
Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.
