I booked this hotel because i had 6 17 year old girls sleeping over at my house and wanted to relax in the hot tub. Hot tub was not cold. Other than that hotel was clean and staff was nice.

The pool area was one of the nicest. The rooms were comfy, nice beds....But our desk lamp's switch was broken, hot water wasn't abundant, the toilet seat was loose, bathroom sink had loose faucet handle, access door to fridge area wouldn't close, and no comp breakfast.

Staff were overall friendly with customers and check in was easy. Within an hour of being in the room the housekeeping randomly walked into our room without knocking to hand us a meal and beverage card. After that we noticed that there was an ant infestation in the bathroom (Captured on video). Hundred's of ants coming from under the floor next to the shower, crawling all over the towels and sink. This was brought to the front desk’s attention and they said they a manager would contact us later on but we felt extremely brushed off.

The staff was very friendly and nice. Axles is a wonderful place to have a meal. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. However, but otherwise it's pretty good stay overall.

Nice clean room. Comfortable beds with great pillows. Very large bath towels. Everything was very nice. Only negative is that the walls are paper thin and you could not only hear the tv next door, you could hear entire conversations.

Rude Front Desk Service at Check in
Front desk staff very rude and tried to skip serving us in line. Even the manager on duty was of no help. She had no control over her staff, according to her. The front desk person was rude, snappy, and clearly would rather be helping anyone else. My daughter had a separate room and they were being helped by someone else, who was very friendly and courteous as you would expect. Since there was a large wedding there, we were told if it got too noisy, we could go somewhere else. It was clear she would have rather been helping the person behind us in line. We are Caucasian while the person behind us was darker complected as was our helper Selma. Definitely would not recommend this hotel, nor will we be returning here. Much better hotels are available in the Twin Cities area.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your experience at our property. I'm sorry to hear that during our rush that you felt that our guest service agents were not attentive to your needs. We do our best to assist those in line in the order that they arrive. After reviewing the interaction with our front desk staff, it seems that the main concern that was raised was the wedding event and the noise levels that would come from it. As a guest choosing to stay on our property, we always like to ensure that they are informed of events or other large groups that are also staying with us as a courtesy. When the wedding was mentioned at check in, it was persistently questioned that if a noise complaint was made, what could we do about it? It was then explained that the event space was rented until 2 AM and due to the consistent questions and concerns that were expressed, it was suggested that if you were uncomfortable with staying on the property due to the event that was taking place even after our staff offered to move you to a higher floor, that there were other close by locations that could be an option as well. When a guest expresses un-comfortability with staying on our property, we always inform guests that there are other nearby properties as another option. I apologize that it may have felt unwelcoming for the suggestion. To address your mentioning of our staff preferring to assist other guests that were in waiting, after further review, all other guests were already assisted. I apologize if there was any confusion otherwise. Thank you for your comments, we will review the matter further with our staff in order to make improvements in our training.

The staff greeted us with a smile and warm cookies! There was a wedding going on and we thought maybe it would be noisy in our rooms, but we were not bothered by any noise. It was a lovely stay.
