It is centrally located to downtown Stillwater, either through a beautiful historic neighborhood or along a bike/walking path along the river. At the bottom of your cottage driveway is Stillwater’s southern scenic overlook where you will get the best view of the new St. Croix Crossing Bridge into Wisconsin. This is an extraordinary rental with a very comfortable living room and working gas fireplace, dining table and a generous host who provides everything one needs. It's a cozy place with beautiful interior design, great outdoor space and view of extensive back yard. The location is great for walking...a short walk to the trailhead of the St. Croix Valley Pathway that can be hiked or biked. We walked into town, across the two bridges that cross the St. Croix River into Wisconsin. Stillwater is a great place to have breakfast with the Oasis Cafe being the closest to this cottage. We have enjoyed our third stay at the Cottage. The decor is delightful and the size is perfect for two! This year because of all the rain it was a bit musty smelling but not so bad we wanted to complain. Makes you feel like you are in a French villa . Our hosts were very gracious and replied to our questions quickly. Got to speak to the neighbors and they were very nice too-gave us some great recommendations for down town. The morning patio coffee was one of our favs!! The location was lovely-directly across the street was a scenic overlook if that gives you any idea of what a gorgeous view we had. The space was perfect for two-one bedroom, one bathroom, but lots of room. The couch was insanely comfortable, there was a large TV and a DVD player with popular movies for our rainy night in. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, huge windows to enjoy the view. This place is wonderful! The location, literally overlooking the St. Croix River, is beautiful. The unit itself was beyond our expectations. The owners have impeccable taste: from the slate floors to the real china dishes, every detail is thought through and executed perfectly. Our only “issue” was my GPS brought me in the wrong way, but we figured it out. We will definitely be back . ##### Alf L.
