A large kitchen features a gas burning stove, a wine fridge, a farmhouse sink, and a large kitchen island with bar stools. A dining room table is cozy next to the ancient fireplace which now stores your bottles of red wine! The leather living room sofa faces a large screen TV and a faux fireplace which lends a cozy vibe. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the side bay which has lovely views of the great outdoors and a desk if you need to catch up on some work. Upstairs is a modern bathroom complete with botanical accents, a bidet, and twin sinks. The Master Bedroom is handsomely equipped with a King sized bed with views of the lake that will leave you impressed! The owners did a nice job of taking a very old home and updating it with modern conveniences without losing the original feel. It was super clean, beds, shower, bathroom, and kitchen were awesome. Whole Foods less than a mile away, and another grocery even closer. Loved being so close to the lake, and a five-minute walk, if that, to rent kayaks. And yet it was quiet at night, and felt very safe. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and obviously well cared for. House was lovely and so well equipped, and who could argue with the views/location next to the water!! We hit up our favorites, Rustica, Barbette, Majers & Quinn, and Curioso Coffee.
