A dining room table is cozy next to the ancient fireplace which now stores your bottles of red wine! The leather living room sofa faces a large screen TV and a faux fireplace which lends a cozy vibe. Upstairs is a modern bathroom complete with botanical accents, a bidet, and twin sinks. The owners did a nice job of taking a very old home and updating it with modern conveniences without losing the original feel. It was super clean, beds, shower, bathroom, and kitchen were awesome. Whole Foods less than a mile away, and another grocery even closer. Loved being so close to the lake, and a five-minute walk, if that, to rent kayaks. And yet it was quiet at night, and felt very safe. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and obviously well cared for. What a beautiful spot on Bde Maka Ska close to trails, dining, shopping & coffee. Plenty of room for my friends and I to make this our "home base" for Art a Whirl weekend and we lucked out with the weather! House was lovely and so well equipped, and who could argue with the views/location next to the water!! We hit up our favorites, Rustica, Barbette, Majers & Quinn, and Curioso Coffee. Easy to hop on Lime bikes to get elsewhere in Uptown & Southwest. All in all a wonderful stay and the hosts were SO accommodating with early check-in & extra parking, thank you! ##### Melissa S.
