Our family spent 2 nights here during spring break while we toured Mall of America. It’s a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during our stay which was one of the primary reasons for staying here. Understandably this is out of anyone’s control, but we were very disappointed. The hotel staff did graciously compensate part of our stay due to the inconvenience. They have a nice, fairly extensive continental breakfast which was very good and a great way to start the day before heading out. They seemed very short of supplies for breakfast. One morning they were out of syrup for the French toast and the other morning they ran out of plates at one point. Parking is available onsite, although we were quite surprised that we had to pay for a nightly parking fee in addition to our room rate, particularly since the hotel has ample parking onsite. While we have encountered this at other hotels, typically it’s with hotels that don’t have their own private parking, limited parking, or are located within crowded city streets, which is not the case here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.
