I have stayed at this hotel several times but this will be my last. They have raised their rates and now charge for parking with no changes to the property or services. When we went to pull out the sofa bed it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned under for a LONG time. The bathrooms are tiny and the staff seemed overwhelmed and forgetful. We will be finding a new favorite hotel in the Bloomington area for our next trip.

This Hyatt property was not like the additional Hyatt properties room outdated old green couch and chair and shower had a shower curtain were when u showered floor gets wet as glass was not present. However bartenders that made drinks were excellent. Would not stay again as it’s not giving top of line like other Hyatt hotels

It was a nice stay- property was clean and staff was nice. The beds in the rooms are full size, not queen size. Also, we had no soap to wash our hands in our room. No biggie, we just went out and purchased some.

The pool was down and I was told I would get a complimentary night, which never happened. I attempted to contact the manager Christina several times and left messages for the general manager. No call back. Lunch and dinner (room service) was not available. I was told I could get a full refund and find another hotel or one night free. I felt the complimentary night would compensate for the amenities not being available I was told the credit would be on my receipt for check out. It was not and no one was available to fix it. On my way out, one of the employees was asleep snoring in the lobby (very distasteful)as I exited. I’ve left two messages and have called several times. Either I’m left on hold, no one answers, or the call is suddenly disconnected.

Unreturned Calls & Missed Communication:I am also incredibly disappointed to learn that your attempts to reach both Kristine, the manager, and myself were unsuccessful. There is absolutely no excuse for this lack of responsiveness, and I will be personally investigating why your messages weren't returned.Limited Food Service & Refund Discrepancy:The unavailability of lunch and dinner room service is unacceptable, and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused. I will be looking into why this service wasn't available and ensure this information is clearly communicated to guests.Regarding the discrepancy with the complimentary night or a full refund, I understand you were initially offered a free night, which was not reflected on your final bill. Sleeping Employee:Finally, I am deeply apologetic about the unprofessional conduct of the employee sleeping in the lobby. Our family spent 2 nights here during spring break while we toured Mall of America. It’s a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during our stay which was one of the primary reasons for staying here. Understandably this is out of anyone’s control, but we were very disappointed. The hotel staff did graciously compensate part of our stay due to the inconvenience. They have a nice, fairly extensive continental breakfast which was very good and a great way to start the day before heading out. They seemed very short of supplies for breakfast. One morning they were out of syrup for the French toast and the other morning they ran out of plates at one point. Parking is available onsite, although we were quite surprised that we had to pay for a nightly parking fee in addition to our room rate, particularly since the hotel has ample parking onsite. While we have encountered this at other hotels, typically it’s with hotels that don’t have their own private parking, limited parking, or are located within crowded city streets, which is not the case here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

This is not the standard we expect for our guests, and we'll be sending maintenance to investigate and address the problem immediately.Lukewarm Shower Water: Apologies for the lukewarm shower water. There could be a temporary issue with the hot water system, or it might be specific to your room. We'll have maintenance look into this as well.Faulty TV Controller: We're sorry the TV controller malfunctioned even after a battery change. This shouldn't have happened. Our staff should be able to provide a replacement controller upon request.We appreciate you mentioning the spaciousness of the room. After a long day we were looking forward to chilling and watching a movie but we had to change rooms 3 times to find a TV that worked. Upon our check out the desk clerk promised us a full refund but apparently the manager ended up only refunding $30, even though we followed up with a refund request through Expedia. The morning desk clerk was very understanding of our disappointment. Also, when I called back to see if I had left my glasses in one of the rooms, I never received a call back.

Upon check in, we were informed the pool was not operational and would not be for multiple days. We were told we could swim across the street at a different Hyatt. Upon speaking with that location, we were told that was not an option. For a party with young kids, this was unfortunate. Was told we had to pay for parking each night. Room was dirty upon entry, trim coming off part of the wall, light fixtures crooked. Check in reception staff had an AirPod in during entire interaction. In getting our refund, hotel was going to hold $100 dollars because we “stayed there”even though we asked for our stay to be cancelled about 20 minutes after check in. Would not recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the Bloomington/MSP airport area.

The front desk clerk was very helpful. I am 66 years old and didn't know how to use phone for scanning. he showed me how and made sure I didn't feel dumb.

Pool was extremely cold, I called the day before to check and see if there pool was operating was told yes, checked in on Friday and went to the pool and my kids couldn’t even stay in, was told some one would fix the temperature came back Saturday and the front desk told me someone would be on the way later that evening was told they don’t even have maintenance on the weekend, tried to take a shower and the water was cold couldn’t get anything done the whole time I was there would never be returning

The pool was out of order, but the front desk did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience. The water in the shower was luke warm and there was an upholstery tack on the floor that my daughter nearly stepped on. The front desk employees were unprofessional. I would not come back here again.
