"This is a pleasant apartment for a week’s stay. The location was highly convenient with nearby access to a wonderful grocery store (Lunds), a great bakery (Black Walnut), wonderful restaurants, and glorious walks around neighboring lakes). We had our own off street parking spot. The hostess was very gracious. The apartment was well heated. It had sufficient room. We plan to check first to see if this apartment is available whenever we return to Minneapolis."

"It’s a great hotel with wonderful staff, but there is very little within walking distance. Had hoped to do some shopping but after driving to find someplace to shop, everything was closed. If you are a hotel snob who lives on room service and the exercise room, it’s just great. For me, however, give me a place with vending machines and a simple microwave located near a bustling shopping mall, not an artwork in the middle of nothing and nowhere. "This was a perfect location for our stay near our daughter’s farm for the holiday. The host was very responsive. Being close to the General Store rescued us several times. We would consider coming back."

"We had a lovely long weekend away in Marine in St. Croix. The accommodations were clean and quite cozy. The town has everything you might need during a short stay. The area is quiet within easy distance of some wonderful state parks. Great hub to go out and enjoy the fall colors. The one downside is that the town has a loud siren that sounds anytime there is a medical or fire emergency in the area. Not too disruptive from the apartment, but pretty intense when sitting outside at the Brookside...

"Of the four elevators, only two were working. This caused backups in the lobby at check in time and at the end of the day. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Just a hassle to get to your room."

With a new knee it was a bit difficult to navigate the stairs with my luggage. But, the front desk guy saw me struggling a bit and helped me halfway up which was truly appreciated! "
