Featuring two wraparound decks, a balcony, and a private dock with a diving board, this home is perfect for spending endless days outside in the fresh air. Not to mention, a gas grill awaits for a classic summer cookout in the sunshine! Though everyone will love the great outdoors, the interior of this home is just as fun with a well-decorated, modern look throughout the three levels, a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining area, and a game room complete with a TV, a kitchenette, and a foosball table! Each night can end with the colors of the sunset over the beautiful water and everyone will love gathering at the firepit until the stars come out! The private dock is a hit, especially among children! It's perfect for sliding, diving boarding, swimming, kayaking, and so much more! For older folks, it offers great fishing opportunities. With three levels, this home offers a perfect amount of space for multiple families to get a bit of privacy. The lowest floor is home to the game room, a kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. The main floor features just one bedroom with a twin bed and a half-bath. Head upstairs and you will be greeted by three more bedrooms. The main bedroom is to the right and offers a plush king bed and an en suite bathroom with a double vanity. To the left, one bedroom contains a twin trundle, and the other features a bunk bed set with a twin and full bed! These two bedrooms share the full bath in the hallway. Secluded away from it all, this home gives a sense of natural privacy and easy access to Lake Anna. Fishing, swimming, and kayaking will be a great way to soak up some summer sun and take advantage of the cool waters. If you want a bit more action, head over to the local marina and rent a boat to really experience the lake! If the adults want to venture out a bit, wine tasting and breweries are scattered throughout the area including Lake Anna Winery, Coyote Hole Cidery, and Cooling Pond Brewery. Plus, hiking trails abound at Lake Anna State Park just seven miles from home base. THINGS TO KNOW A harmful algae bloom may be impacting the lake in this area. Please contact Vacasa for more info. This home is located on the public "cool" side of the lake. There is a community launch that guests with boats can access. The depth of the water down at the dock for the house is roughly 8ft deep. Firewood is not provided; guests will have to bring their own. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Dock details: The covered boatslip is not available for guest use. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Large and spacious and open room concept. Outdoor furniture needs a good power washing. We booked because we wanted to swim but algae levels made it unsafe to swim this part of the lake. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 adults. The new dock is beautiful. The inside of the house was relatively clean when we arrived and we were comfortable, With the exception of the beds. The dock has just been replaced with recycled plastic decking, so you can ignore the old reviews that said the dock was unsafe. They added some solar lights too, but I recommend bringing your own lanterns if you plan to hang there after dark. The house itself is comfortable with some nice beds and enough bathrooms. It has the common problems of rental houses, and the pictures are old. The futon in the basement has been replaced by a table and chairs. There's a sleeper sofa down there, but it's terribly uncomfortable. I recommend bringing an air mattress if you plan to put people in the basement rec room. Overall, we liked it though. The house was dirty when we arrived. There was food crumbs on the kitchen table and floor. We had to clean it ourselves. The HVAC system doesn’t work well. It was a sauna in the basement bedroom and freezing cold in the upstairs bedrooms especially the master. We had to change the filter ourselves. Missing lightbulbs in upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Vacasa sent someone out but only did the upstairs bathroom. There are stains everywhere on the carpet throughout house. The outside was extremely dirty. The furniture was unusable. Vacasa said they would send someone out to clean but never did!! The dock has a lot of rotten wood with a big hole. They had it covered up with a rock. There are loose boards. Very dangerous. We did enjoy the slide and diving board. ##### Joy C. However, we were disappointed that we really couldn't use the outside dock and decks after dark. There is no power/electricity on at the pier and deck. No flood lights, no dock lights. The photos show a nice dock area with a tiki bar and chairs but you can't sit out there or fish after dark. That was very upsetting. If you don't have any intention of doing anything after dark, then this house is perfect. Perhaps, the owner will consider turning the power and lights on at the dock. ##### Renee H. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space for all. The house had everything you need and more. It was clean and all ready when we got there. The dock was a huge hit. The kids loved the slide and diving board. We all enjoyed how spacious the dock was, we were all able to fish and enjoy the water. The location of the house is perfect. Nice and quite and close to gas and food. The only issues we had was the keypad code didnt work when we arrived but that was quickly resolved. The only other issue was that the sheets/bed set in the lower level bedroom were dirty. We just changed the sheets using the extra linen provided. I drove the pontoon boat I rented after dinner every night for sunset viewing. Highly recommended. Not much traffic on the bridge, no impact.
