Not to mention, a gas grill awaits for a classic summer cookout in the sunshine! Though everyone will love the great outdoors, the interior of this home is just as fun with a well-decorated, modern look throughout the three levels, a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining area, and a game room complete with a TV, a kitchenette, and a foosball table! Each night can end with the colors of the sunset over the beautiful water and everyone will love gathering at the firepit until the stars come out! The private dock is a hit, especially among children! It's perfect for sliding, diving boarding, swimming, kayaking, and so much more! For older folks, it offers great fishing opportunities. With three levels, this home offers a perfect amount of space for multiple families to get a bit of privacy. The lowest floor is home to the game room, a kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. The main floor features just one bedroom with a twin bed and a half-bath. Head upstairs and you will be greeted by three more bedrooms. The main bedroom is to the right and offers a plush king bed and an en suite bathroom with a double vanity. To the left, one bedroom contains a twin trundle, and the other features a bunk bed set with a twin and full bed! These two bedrooms share the full bath in the hallway. Secluded away from it all, this home gives a sense of natural privacy and easy access to Lake Anna. Fishing, swimming, and kayaking will be a great way to soak up some summer sun and take advantage of the cool waters. If you want a bit more action, head over to the local marina and rent a boat to really experience the lake! If the adults want to venture out a bit, wine tasting and breweries are scattered throughout the area including Lake Anna Winery, Coyote Hole Cidery, and Cooling Pond Brewery. Plus, hiking trails abound at Lake Anna State Park just seven miles from home base. THINGS TO KNOW A harmful algae bloom may be impacting the lake in this area. Please contact Vacasa for more info. This home is located on the public "cool" side of the lake. There is a community launch that guests with boats can access. The depth of the water down at the dock for the house is roughly 8ft deep. Firewood is not provided; guests will have to bring their own. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Dock details: The covered boatslip is not available for guest use. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 adults. The new dock is beautiful. The inside of the house was relatively clean when we arrived and we were comfortable, With the exception of the beds. Plenty of outdoor furniture, eating space indoors and outdoors and thoughtful amenities that we truly appreciated. Soap, clothes detergent, pillows etc. The best thing of all was the dock and the diving board. That diving board provided hours of fun. Had no idea beforehand how much this added to our enjoyment. Had a nice bonfire one night with sticks in the yard, watched movies, ate pizza. We were chilly inside but didn't know how to adjust thermostat. Fix showerhead downstairs and add batteries to remotes please. Bunkbed over the full bed needs some repairs,it's a hazard wtih exposed screws on first step and sideboard broken, we didn't let our granddaughter use the top bunk. Our towels were all in a bag on the deck, which Amber told us to use. Was odd but it worked. Overall we loved our stay and the yard and dock. ##### Amy S. The dock has just been replaced with recycled plastic decking, so you can ignore the old reviews that said the dock was unsafe. They added some solar lights too, but I recommend bringing your own lanterns if you plan to hang there after dark. The house itself is comfortable with some nice beds and enough bathrooms. It has the common problems of rental houses, and the pictures are old. The futon in the basement has been replaced by a table and chairs. There's a sleeper sofa down there, but it's terribly uncomfortable. I recommend bringing an air mattress if you plan to put people in the basement rec room. Overall, we liked it though. Being in the cove made it easy to float or take the boat out onto the water at anytime. The house came with plenty of supplies for the week which was a great added touch. I’ve stayed at several houses on the lake and so far this has been our favorite. The photos show a nice dock area with a tiki bar and chairs but you can't sit out there or fish after dark. That was very upsetting. Nov 30, 2022 #### Lake house near the bridge My family has enjoyed vacationing at Lake Anna for many years and always spend a week renting a house with close friends on the lake. Many of the elements of enjoying a week at a lake are included in this house. It has an easy access boat ramp a block away, and plenty of space for docking your boat. The dock is spacious, and it includes a slide, and diving board which was fun for all. The location gave you easy access to the marinas, state park, and restaurants by either car or boat. The property had plenty of space for parking if needed as well. Unfortunately, there were things about the house that do need improvement. The lighting was very poor at night on the dock, and the lights they had did not work well. The air conditioning unit in the house did not do a good job of keeping rooms cool, and the downstairs often was warm. The room my wife and I shared had virtually no lighting and did not include any closet space. We only had a small dresser for clothing. We had to check in late since the cleaning crew was delayed, and there were parts of the house that did not seem exceptionally clean. Overall, the house has a lot of potential and it had the necessary components of having fun on the lake. We loved the house with all the amenities. The only thing I would suggest ( coming from a homeowner that lives in the woods. Outside doors & deck need power washed, bugs and spiderwebs in all the door tracks also on inside windows. Decking down near pier has dangerous holes with jagged wood around them. Grandson got toe cut from them.. Smoke alarm was going off in middle of night needs new battery also noticed the alarms themselves are out of date. ##### Valerie B. Aug 30, 2022 #### Good location and nice house but lacking in cleanliness and upkeep We were very excited for our stay at Unleashed on Lake Anna but became a little disappointed once arriving. The house is in a beautiful location with dock being in a no wake zone. The house could be amazing if there were better upkeep for instance: the house was extremely dirty with cobwebs in corners of the ceilings in kitchen, dirty dishes put away in the kitchen cabinets, dead bugs, dust, and dirt in many corners of the home. There were also many elements outdoors that need some work, the patio furniture was dirty and covered in mold when we arrived along with a massive hole in the dock going through to the water and many other rotting boards on the dock. House has so much potential to be incredible with the slide and diving board on the dock but needs some maintenance and cleaning. ##### Carol C. ### 4/10 Poor #### Joy C. There was food crumbs on the kitchen table and floor. We had to clean it ourselves. The HVAC system doesn’t work well. It was a sauna in the basement bedroom and freezing cold in the upstairs bedrooms especially the master. We had to change the filter ourselves. Missing lightbulbs in upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Vacasa sent someone out but only did the upstairs bathroom. There are stains everywhere on the carpet throughout house. The outside was extremely dirty. The furniture was unusable. Vacasa said they would send someone out to clean but never did!! The dock has a lot of rotten wood with a big hole. The location on the lake and the dock setup is great for kids and boating. The Cove is close as well. The house comfortably slept our group and the kids enjoyed the large yard. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space for all. The house had everything you need and more. It was clean and all ready when we got there. The dock was a huge hit. The kids loved the slide and diving board. We all enjoyed how spacious the dock was, we were all able to fish and enjoy the water. The location of the house is perfect. Nice and quite and close to gas and food. The only issues we had was the keypad code didnt work when we arrived but that was quickly resolved. The only other issue was that the sheets/bed set in the lower level bedroom were dirty. We just changed the sheets using the extra linen provided. This house was the perfect spot for our group! The deck area by the lake was huge and the slide and diving board were a big hit with the kids. The house was a extremely clean upon arrival and we loved how Vacasa left soap and hand sanitizer at every sink. The only complaint we had was the blender did not work. Also, just so other renters are aware, this house is located on an area of the lake that often gets swimming advisories (especially later in the summer) due to higher levels of Cyanobacteria in the water. One was issued just before our trip. This is not anyone’s fault, just want people who are not familiar with Lake Anna to be aware in case this is a deal breaker for you. ##### Melissa B. The only issue we had was getting locked in downstairs bathroom. Door knob needs to be changed. Plenty of room for our family. Enjoyed board games in evening after great day on the water.
