Lovely long lake weekend

We were looking for a quiet April weekend by the lake for our kids aged 4 through 17, and that's what we had. There were lots of spots to sit and lounge around, and we lived mostly on the dock, chasing fish, using water toys, and occasionally taking paddle boards to venture further into Lake Anna.

Fun weekend at the lake

The house was very clean and in a great location. Our teenagers loved riding the jet ski, fishing for catfish right off the dock every evening, and playing ping pong in the basement after dinner. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Jenn, the property manager, was great! Thank you for the wonderful family memories at the lake!

Great vacation home

The home and property is lovely and well kept. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing off of the dock. A great place to unwind and reconnect with family. Highly recommended!

Great location, dock, house, amenities, everything was as advertised!

House and dock has everything you could ask for. Host was easy to communicate with and check in/out was no issue. Dock is close to a busy road but it is not noticeable or noisy at all. in fact, really liked the private-like cove. Our kids enjoyed the paddleboards, kayak, floaties, etc. would stay there again!

Great Lake House

Lake Front Fun!

The property is located on a wooded lot with beautiful views of the lake. We spent most of the time at the boat house, enjoying kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing on the lake. At night we enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit. There were plenty of restaurants, and wineries within a reasonably short drive. We truly enjoyed our stay at the property and would do it all over again!

Great celebration week!

Had a fun week celebrating a birthday with friends. Caught a lot of fish! Enjoyed the firepit, kayaking, hot tub. Host was very responsive. Truly enjoyed our stay!

Fishing Trip

Our fishing club comes to Lake Anna every year to get some early spring fishing in. And this house provided a great home base for us with space for everyone’s boats. The host promptly replied to any questions we had and helped make our trip great. Thanks!

Great House!

We had a wonderful stay July 2023. The house had everything you could need to have an amazing time on the lake. We had a great time using the Kayaks, paddle boards and the floating dock was a great place to lounge. Everyone had a great time and Steve was great to work with. We will definitely rent again.

Great Lake house on the warm side

Loved the house and really had a great time. The boathouse is great and we all (kids and adults) loved using the kayaks and paddle board. The fire pit was also a big hit. The kitchen has everything you need. Overall a great experience.

Relaxing vacation

The house and property are so lovely! Everything about the property is fantastic, with the exception of the loud and busy road. We wish we had known about it before booking our stay. The boathouse/dock is gorgeous and so much fun to hang out and fish on. The fire pit is huge and so nice. We also loved the unique indoor hot tub. The king bed in the primary bedroom is super comfy!

What a Gem!

The pictures of this property do not do it enough justice. We stayed Labor Day weekend and the following week and it was PERFECT for my family. Quiet, LOTS to do, clean, spacious, and super private. We will absolutely be back in the future as it is a perfect family vacation spot.

Great getaway!

We loved everything about this house. The new dock house was a great place to hang out, and just a short walk from the house. We enjoyed making smores every night! The only thing I would have wished for was for the property to supply toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.

Amazing Week on the lake!

I can’t speak highly enough of Steve and his beautiful property. We had such a wonderful time making memories we won’t forget. The house is so spacious, perfect for a group. And the boathouse is a dream! Steve responded very quickly to every question we had. Definitely a 10/10 experience. We will be back!

Great stay at the lake for two of us and our pup as Steve’s place is in a quiet cove with plenty of shoreline and just one super friendly neighbor who we rarely saw. Having access to the boat and jet ski in addition to the usual water toys gave us everything we needed to take full advantage of being on the warm side of the lake. Place was clean, layout was good, hot tub was awesome and Steve was very responsive to the few minor issues that we encountered. Definitely look forward to staying at Steve’s place again next year.

Amazing home!

This home is so beautiful and in such amazing location! The property owner is very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and is just an all-around nice person. My family enjoyed the kayaks thoroughly along with the jet ski. Beautiful short getaway. Looking forward to reserving a longer trip next time. The double deck boat house is just gorgeous and the views of the night sky are indescribable. Soulful and peaceful, I highly recommend this home and location to anyone looking for some adventure and rest.

Perfect family getaway.

We had a wonderful time. The house is cosy and well equipped. There was something for everyone, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, lounging, fishing, kayaking and swimming. The boat house is gorgeous with two levels of lounging space. Steve is a great host and responded quickly to every inquiry. Plenty of towels available, but you do need to bring your own sheets. There is a Food Lion a few miles away and we were able to cook dinner when we didn’t order takeout. Highly recommend it.
