Outside, the mature landscaped garden feels like a private retreat with lush planting, a generous lawn and a raised decking area complete with quality garden furniture for long, lazy afternoons in the sun. Minehead is a charming seaside town where the Quantock Hills meet the coast, offering that classic mix of sea air, sand and countryside adventure. The long sandy beach is perfect for morning walks with the dog or building sandcastles with the family, and the promenade is lined with cafés and ice cream stalls that capture the nostalgic spirit of the British seaside. The picturesque harbour is just a stroll away, and from there you can join the start of the South West Coast Path for breathtaking walks along the cliffs towards Porlock and beyond.  
  
The town itself has plenty to explore, from boutique shops and friendly pubs to the historic West Somerset Railway, which runs heritage steam trains through miles of scenic countryside to Bishops Lydeard.
