This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. We tried a meal at the hotel and were asked to pay in advance and then given no menu - we just got what was given (which wasn’t bad actually). Theu have their own rental for ski equipment which was handy. There were no other families here (I have a wife and kid) and it was all young people. There was a shared bathroom and the showers were communal and in the hot spring pool room. So if you are on a tight budget and young you could do worse (especially as similar properties in the area seemed to have similar facilities at a higher price - and en suite facilities are rare). But if you are older and or need a bit more luxury - no. They only provided hand towels free - larger you had to pay for.
