We booked the hotel the day of the trip as we had change plans due to Typhoon Haishen. When we entrance to the hotel was blocked with a rope and they did not answer the phone. There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or
a notification. We were left in the typhoon with nowhere to go and struggled to find anything for hours during when the weather got really bad. We had to drive under fallen trees, get out of the car to pull branches off road and hide in someone’s garage in our car because of this hotel’s irresponsible act. They left us in a life threatening situation which is unacceptable.
Hotels.com representatives did their best to help us over the phone while we were looking for another place. So thank you hotels.com for that.
