Very friendly staffs all around. The ryokan provided pick up and drop off service from Sayo JR station and Hayashino JR station which was very convenient to us (with JR pass). English speaking staffs provided assistance to us right after our booking (via email) and during our stay. The ryokan even organised a morning tour up to the mountain to see the fantastic cloud of sea which was unforgettable. Although the district was a quiet country side and without much to see, the stay was brilliant.
