All was great for the price and the staff were really friendly. The staff warned us about the lift that was not working and even came to see if the room was ok which it was. The highlight was the walk along the river into the city and the breakfast from the place round the corner. We will stay again if in town.

I am a repeat guest of this hotel, but I would not recommend staying here if the weather is hot. The room is like a sauna. They have no air conditioning. No complimentary water in the room.

I took a single room - the bed was comfortable and the room size was enough for an overnight stay. The bathroom: the shower was excellent - could have had a shower gel dispenser secured to the wall. The detailing of the sealant areas needed more cleaning. The toilet seat had a broken hinge - needs repairing. Otherwise very serviceable. Tea and coffee making was great with real coffee bags and Twinning Teas. Carpeting in the hallways is tired/worn and needs cleaning or renewing and also maybe the bedroom. Overall I would return as it's local enough to my craft course. Thanks for the welcome and stay

"Turned up got a nice room but no electric took staff over half a hour to sort. Offered another room but on third floor with lift out of order and we are disabled. Not sure staff knew what they were doing although very attentive. Toilet flushing all night so noisy. Breakfast was very average and everything ..."
