Can be resumed by one word: WONDERFUL!!!!
Just wonderful! I wish I could have stay longer. You look for a special experience? in a really cool area (bars, restaurants, and the HD museum within 5 min drive)? Very friendly owners, and an over the top breakbast (Can't remember when I had one that good in the US). Hopefully I'll have teh chance to stop by again.

If you like waking to a perfect cup of coffee and hearty and healthy breakfast after a fantastic night's sleep, look no more. The Muse Gallery Guesthouse delivers on the promise of an excellent bed and breakfast. The food was homemade and delicious, even tailored to guest needs (I'm gluten-free). The hosts were friendly and hospitable, greeting us with snacks and sangria, but respectful of privacy. And when I had a work issue and needed a notary, they got on the neighborhood listserv and found me someone right away. All this in a beautiful space, with art displayed everywhere. We will definitely return if and when we get back to Milwaukee.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It is amazing inside. The artwork is amazing. Service is great! We went for our honeymoon, and they gave us a smal gift for our wedding! The Julia room is the one I’d recommend taking.

Highly Recommended Awesomeness
Mary Ellen was the most awesome host. Breakfast was healthy and fresh (fruits, cheeses, veggies, lunch meats… the huge be was very comfortable. The dining and living room was private. Bayview is the most unique cool neighborhood. We will be back. Highly Recommend!

Mary and her husband are the best host. The house is beautiful and uniquely decorated in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is tasty with healthy ingredients. I didn't know french toast could go so well with hazelnut and sausage and fluffy scrambled eggs could be paired with sauté vegetables. My husband and I plan to stay at the Muse Gallery guesthouse when we visit Milwaukee again.

The host personally greeted us and made us feel right at home. The other guests were a pleasure to get to know, and the breakfast was out of this world! The overall atmosphere was homey and inviting. The location is within walking distance to wine, coffee and restaurants, and is quick ride to downtown Milwaukee. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

MaryEllen was so nice and very helpful. She had great coffee and some really awesome homemade cranberry nut bread, bananas and orange juice ready for us as we did not need a full breakfast. The location was good. Not far from the Lake. It would have been nice to take a walk along the lake if the weather would have cooperated. Our room was Cheryl’s room and was sufficient for our needs. The 2nd kitchen was just off of our room and our bathroom was just across the hall. The shower in the bathroom was quite small. We are on the smaller side so it was ok for us. The other bedrooms have their own bathrooms in the room from what I understand. The house was very clean and inviting. We were only there one night but we did enjoy our stay and would stay there again.

A different kind of experience.
This is a far different experience than standard hotel stays. Personalized service. I was greeted and given a tour of the amenities. Afforded a key, and offered tips for dining and drinking in the area.Comfortable rooms with personal touches. Never heard a noise any of the three nights.Great breakfasts. We are not talking the egg McMuffin here. Each dish was complex and very tasty. You will gain weight staying here. It might not be for me every time, but it is a great “other “ option to consider. Glad I did it this time. Thank you to proprietors Andrew and Mary.

Bay View is a great neighborhood
Mary Ellen and Andrew were awesome hosts for our two night stay. We were greeted with wine and cheese on our arrival and were briefed on all there was so do and see in the area. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay--a beautiful presentation, but most of all it was delicious!

The Muse Gallery hits all the right buttons leaving us wishing we had booked a much longer stay. Absolutely beautiful suite with perfect hosts so what can a Canuck say more than enjoy. Love the neighbourhood too!! Walking half a block to eat and drink at awesome restaurants and bars makes the easy life sweeter! Cheers!

Not only is this home beautifully styled, but it's covered in great local art! Mary Ellen and Andrew were friendly and accommodating hosts. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again!

Loved everything. Stayed in the Angela Suite with another couple. The other bedrooms looked great too. Beds were very comfortable, Breakfast was outstanding, snacks in the evening were great. The owners definitely made the stay outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. Great neighborhood. Walk to good restaurants and ice cream shop. Milwaukee a great friendly city in general. Absolutely recommend this place in the Bay View area. Close enough to downtown with a quite quaint feel. Great outside sitting areas. Hope to return.

Great place with a great location.
The muse is a wonderfully run bed and breakfast. Mary and Andrew are really great. The location is wonderful as you can walk to many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We had a great time and would recommend.

We were in town for a wedding and this place provided a lovely stay with the comfort home. Hosts were especially delightful, and provided a delectable breakfast, and snacks for their guests.

Staycation at Muse was just what we needed!
We had a wonderful time! Andrew & Mary were wonderful hosts, the location in the Bayview neighborhood is great, totally walkable to many fun establishments nearby. Our room was lovely and the house itself was beautiful. It was extra special to be there during the Bayview Gallery Night, we got to meet some of the artists whose work was featured in the house. We live in Milwaukee so we didn't travel far and were already familiar with the neighborhood, but we had such a lovely time revisiting our past times spent on the south side. Highly recommended!
