Lake Miltona is shallow on the north shore with a sandy bottom which makes it perfect for kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and swimming. The house is a short 1-minute drive from the public launch if you want to bring a boat or rent one to snag that trophy fish. If you're looking for other types of recreation nearby, there are multiple golf courses, trails for hiking and biking, as well as the Carlos State Park Lazy River for tubing (unsupported). It was perfect for both adults and kids, with beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty to do. The paddle boards, boat, and swimming entertained everyone, and the lake was clean and inviting. We had two families, and the big kids and littles had a blast. We also enjoyed the fishing from the dock and the lake. Very clean, very responsive, and the two cabins worked great for us.
