PET-FRIENDLY. LINENS INCLUDED. We looked high and low for the "perfect" beach property for years. We've spent many Sunday afternoons taking a stroll on the beach (even in winter!). We wanted a location that was quiet, secluded, and where we could enjoy nature and time with our family. Beachwalk fits the bill perfectly. It is quiet, secluded, yet close to major attractions (shopping, restaurants, theaters, golf, etc.). Wake up to dolphins and dune grass, not traffic and tourists. This quiet, pet-welcoming escape includes full linens, fire pit, smart TV, and beach gear – just step off the deck and onto the sand. Relish the beautiful sunrises over the Delaware Bay, and in the evenings, the gorgeous sunsets over the wildlife refuge behind you. Relax on the beach watching the dolphins swim by, read that book you have been putting off, take a walk along the sandy shore, swim in the bay, comb for seashells and sea glass, or enjoy a bonfire on the beach with family and friends. Enjoy amenities such as reliable high speed internet, cable TV, cotton sheets and towels, a kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, and an open floor plan, with lots of windows, to enjoy the view. Your four-legged friend will appreciate the wraparound deck with a small gated run below that includes a convenient potty-stop, and the fact they are allowed on the beach (with a leash) all year-round. For the days you want more social interaction, it is only a fifteen to twenty minute drive to the following places: touring the Dogfish Head Brewery, shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth, taking in a movie at the Movies of Midway, walking the historic district of Lewes, Delaware’s first settlement, or strolling the boardwalk at Rehoboth (the younger ones will definitely want to tour Funland). We believe you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as much as we do. Our home has two queen beds, and a bunk bed for a total of six guests. The house is built directly on the beach with trees on both sides giving the sense of real personal space. During the last beach replenishment, a double fenced sand dune was placed in front of all properties with access points added every few hundred feet. Our house sits right at one of those entrance points. The two garage spaces, under the house, are accessible from the inside in case of inclement weather. It is also where the grills are kept. Additional parking is available in the driveway. We are glad to assist in making your stay a 5-star visit. Our information book in the kitchen is filled with lots of helpful tips and local advice. We learned a long time ago that family & friend vacations were worth the investment; a small price to pay for wonderful memories and great personal connections. We count it a privilege to have you stay in our home, BEACHWALK PLACE. Brett and Natalie Venable We are available by text or cell anytime. We leave you alone to enjoy your privacy, but are available when you need us. We are located at the south (less populated and, therefore, quieter) end of Broadkill Beach. Our home is right ON THE BEACH, so you can see and hear the waves and beach wildlife. Our section of Broadkill is quiet and peaceful. We are a short drive from the boardwalk and activity in Rehoboth Beach or the quaint shops in Lewes. We are Pet Friendly. Sweeping views of Delaware Bay out to Cape May lighthouse greet you as you walk in. Our favorite part is watching the full moon rise over the bay or watching from the bed a sunrise on the water.The place is super quiet, with almost no one on beach off season. So many beach supplies..kitchen supplies..sheets etc. We needed only food and clothes. And per friendly on top of everything. The plethora of toys was an unexpected perk for my little ones. Wasn’t fully ready for the biting flies but we managed and there was only one or two bad days. Having the beach right outside our windows was heavenly, we especially love that Broadkill is quiet and semi secluded. The house was perfect for our group, so comfortable and cozy and relaxing. We took drives to town and the refuge but had everything else we needed for a restorative weekend right at the house and beach and we loved every minute of our visit. Thank you! ##### Irene P. This beautiful home was the perfect spot for our multi-gnereational girl's trip celebrating my mom's 80th birthday. From the thoughtful welcome treats (with a Happy Birthday balloon!), to the comfortable bedding and luxury towels, well stocked kitchen, and amazing views, we could not have chosen a better spot. The home is remote on a quiet beachfront road, right next to an easy beach access path, with extensive windows facing the dunes and beach that created a wonderful, relaxing setting for our trip. Sunrise views were particularly magnificent. There were plenty of games and puzzles and corners to read in that kept us all occupied, and the home is a 20-30 minute drive from Rehoboth boardwalk and downtown Lewes so excursions were easy when we wanted a little more action. The beach is never crowded and the house is situated to provide privacy and a sense of seclusion. The house itself is lovely and well appointed. Brett and Natalie are wonderful hosts. They are readily accessible and go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need. I give this retreat an A+. ##### jan r. Natalie and Brett have thought of everything! From the welcoming tower of treats and freshly baked muffins to the hotel quality linens, everything you need has been provided. The view is spectacular and beach is steps away. The dog run is "genius"! Even though the weather was cloudy and the surf a bit rough, we were able to enjoy long walks on the beach with our dog, who also had a wonderful time. ##### Anne R. The beach is very walkable including with your dog! The house is well equipped and nicely furnished. The only downside is that due to the marshland there can be biting flies on the beach primarily depending on the wind direction. It was so much more than expected. A fantastic expanse of the ocean was easily enjoyed from the living room. The house was super clean, extremely comfortable and so relaxing. It was evident that the owners take great pride in their property. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedding was soft and newer. Kitchen was well stocked for anyone who wished to cook. I am looking forward to returning in the warmer months. Walked the beautiful beach with our two English Bulldogs who had a great vactation also. Location is perfect and shops are all near by. Natalie and Brett thought of everything! The communication with them was excellent. It is obvious that they care and want to make sure renters enjoy their stay. The snacks and homemade muffins were a welcoming treat. This is a wonderful rental especially if you want to take dogs on your trip and feel that they are welcome and safe. The built in gate options are so well thought out. We did not have to constantly leash our dogs for a potty break. There was an enclosed gated section where they could do their business. The kitchen is fully equipped which makes making meals no hassle. Being on the beach and listening to the waves roll back and forth was so calming. Walking on the beach and flipping the horseshoe crabs that where upside down was fun. We felt like we where helping the environment. Watching the sun rise each day was special. We really enjoyed our stay and how it made us feel relaxed and gave us some relief from a stressful world. There is a good energy and feel to the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliance and essentials - even had a crockpot, plenty of spices. They supplied dish soap, toilet paper, towels and sheets which made things so convenient. This home was very clean. Loved that we were able to bring our dog and the beach was dog-friendly. The house did not smell of animals. I would highly recommend this house. They had an awesome outside shower with hot water. The fire pit area was very nice. The host was very responsive to communications. ##### Cheryl S.
