I didn't even go upstairs. I spent a lot of time on that dock staring at the water and just enjoying every bit of my surroundings. I didn't want to leave. When I finally went upstairs, everything was perfect. I was able to contact Kim when I had questions. I enjoyed playing ball with Sampson. I will be returning for sure. We sat out on the covered porch and enjoyed listening to the birds and frogs while seeing the occasional fish jump. We didn't do much cooking while there because we were hanging out with friends who live in the area, but the kitchen was well stocked and Kim was thoughtful enough to leave some water and snacks. The furniture was comfy, and there were several beds to choose from. The decor is coastal and comforting without looking cookie-cutter like so many rentals do nowadays. While it is in a quiet area, this is still close to town for dining or shopping, and there was a little bit of everything store-wise, so it's very conveniently located. The owner Kim was very responsive and sent an email checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing place to stay - 10 out of 10! ##### Sue H. Kim and James have been amazing hosts! They have been so helpful and quick to communicate. The house is so beautiful and sits right on the black water river. The porch wraps around the back of the house and faces the water. It’s truly stunning. There is a grill on the back porch, a table and very comfortable chairs, and tons of room.
