Whether you crave sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, dolphin watching, or horseshoe crab spotting, Broadkill Beach offers it all! Collect seashells, observe snow geese and sandpipers, build sandcastles, or simply take leisurely strolls along the shore. Afternoon siestas are a breeze with the hammock, while outdoor hot water showers offer refreshing breaks in the open air. Relax on our expansive 800+ square foot deck, where you can unwind and soak in the coastal ambiance. As the day winds down, gather around a beachside fire pit, listen to the soothing waves, and marvel at the starlit sky. The Space The home offers multiple gathering areas and relaxing spaces. With a fully equipped kitchen, propane grill, and comfortable sleeping arrangements, including 5 bedrooms with a king, 2 queen, 2 twin and bunk beds, everyone will feel right at home. The six overflow bedroom with twin size bed and a slide out twin bed. Amenities We provide an array of amenities, including beach gear (beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys), entertainment options like Xbox & board games, and essential baby gear (high chair, pack & play crib, baby bath and monitor). Stay connected with high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace, if needed. Places to Visit Explore nearby attractions such as Historic Milton (10 minutes), Lewes (15 minutes), Rehoboth boardwalk and outlets (20 minutes), or take the Lewes/Cape May Ferry, each offering its own unique charm and adventure. For recommendations on things to do don’t hesitate to reach out. Other Things to Note We welcome your furry companions up to two medium size dogs with a non-refundable fee of $250 per stay and signed addendum, making our home truly inclusive. The outside of the property has security cameras that allow us to monitor the property. The security cameras are motion activated and normally deactivated during a renters stay. Please note, linens are not included, but rental packages are available upon request. Additionally, our house is elevated on pilings, requiring guests to navigate stairs to access the living space. We hadn’t looked closely enough at the layout to realize that the you have to walk through the trundle bed room to get to one of the other bedrooms, but that was no big deal. The only downside of our week was that for several of the days the bugs were so bad we couldn’t really enjoy being outside at all - we ended up going to Lewes for two of our beach days and never got to do a fire. This is a beautiful house with ability to hold our group: 5 adults, 5 children, including a baby. We so enjoyed the large outdoor space for dining, grilling and relaxing. The gorgeous beach was quiet and not filled with tourists. Homeowners were very responsive. I highly recommend this property. ##### Martha J. We spent most of our indoor time in the kitchen / living room, which had ample space for our group of 7\. The kitchen has all new appliances and is well stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed several sunrises from the large balcony on the main floor and the huge outdoor area on the first floor was very enjoyable when it was cool enough to be outside. Just a short walk over the dunes, the beach was very pleasant and sparsely populated, even on the busy 4th of July weekend. Finally, the owners were very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation to the beach. ##### James G.
