Traditional Cycladic House

The house is a renovated old traditional cycladic house with thick stone walls, a flat roof with a phantastic roof terrace with view to the sunset over Milos harbour bay. Surrounded by traditional houses. It has a cosy little Veranda.

The house is situated 2 walking minutes via a small path from the free big parking lot of the village. It has two entrances from two different units, which are in the interior connected by a door, so that it can be used by a family or a group wishing for some privacy. From the traditional veranda in front of the house there is a staircase that leads up to the upper deck with a fantastic view, the entrance of the port of Milos.

Each unit has its own bathroom and one unit offers a kitchen, modern built in old oven stove.

Unique is the combination of tranquility and the quick access to the village center, free parking, bus station and the traditional villages with restaurants and tavernas, (2 mins to Tripiti and 10 mins to Plaka walking distance).

With a rented car or motorbike as well as with public transport the house is easily accessible in 2 mins walking distance.

Guests can eat indoor and outdoor and use garden fruits and vegetable.

Maison très agréable

Maison très agréable, très propre et au calme. Un roof top vraiment très bien avec une vue splendide. Seul petit point négatif: nécessité de prendre sa voiture pour aller sur les plages. Très bon séjour en famille!

Great family stay in Milos

Thanks a lot to Ilias and it's daughter for their great welcoming in Milos Tripiti. The house is very nice, the roof top has a great view on sun set and the house is very clean and well organised. We went there in August with our 3 little kids and the house and location is great to discover Milos Island in the best conditions! We do recommend Ilias house! V. Goliard

Nous avons énormément apprécié Milos qui est une île paisible. Facilité pour se déplacer. Plages agréables et non bondées. Paysages magnifiques. Gentillesse des habitants. Excellente location. Excellent accueil de la part des propriétaires qui sont très agréables et disponibles. Nous avons vivement apprécié la terrasse de laquelle nous avions une vue magnifique sur la mer. La propriété est située dans une ruelle à Tripiti au calme, pas loin de Plaka.

fabulous quiet village home close walk to all

we LOVED our 5 days here in this home in the lovely village! our family of 5 all had space- small but clean, quiet, and the rooftop deck patio was outstanding! we are, slept in the sun, watched the sunset, and enjoyed the view and the songs of the birds from the roof every day. The location could not have been better- we walked everywhere around Village of Tripiti. and to Plakos and the catacombs, the ancient amphitheater and the seaside fisherman’s village of Klima. We loved the restraunts next door- everyone so kind and welcoming. extremely quiet and safe. also walkable for first couple days, then we rented a car and explored the island and the beaches and villages the last few days! we could have easily spent a week here! would love to return! highly recommend this place. we did ask for extra pillows and the beds were quite firm, however we loved it all and hated to leave!

we really enjoyed the house, clean and comfortable. we had enough room for 2 couples and .2 children. we enjoyed the restaurant around the block. we did rent a car to get around. shopped at the local market had home cooking, we shared a Cuban meal with the grandmother behind us. she was very friendly with the children. thank you for having all of us.

Short but sweet stay

Due to flight and ferry cancellations from high winds, our stay was shortened to only two nights. We really enjoyed the location - authentic village experience, proximity to the amphitheater and statue of Aphrodite (Venus de Milo) marking the location where she was found, and fantastic sunsets from the rooftop patio. Beds were comfortable and amenities were all as listed. We enjoyed our brief stay at this lovely property.

Wonderful, I

This was a great place to begin our trip to Greece. A car is not really necessary as there is bus service and taxis can be called. Many options are in walking distance for food or sightseeing. The roof terrace is the best place to begin and end the day, or take a nap after a day of swimming. Katarina was wonderful as our hostess. Fruit, water, coffee, and wine were provided;as well as laundry detergent and some basic grooming items. Wi-Fi worked fairly well. We were excited to see Athens but are already missing the peace and quiet of Milos and morning coffee on the terrace, watching boats go by and listening to thr birds sing next door. It I’d truly a llittle piece of heaven that we hope to visit again.

Alles, was man braucht

Wir haben dieses Haus für 5 Tage gemietet. Der Empfang war herzlich und kleinere Mängel wurden schnell behoben. Die Terrasse mit sehr schönem Sunset und der Flussläufen Nähe zu Plakat waren total Klasse. Öffentl. Parkplatz+Taverne sind in der Nähe, aber dafür kein Minimarkt im Ort.

Adorable house in a perfect quiet location

We are a family of four with two young children aged 9 and 6. We spent a Great time in Ilias house. It is situated in a quiet road in Tripiti close to restaurants in Tripiti and in Plaka. From the rooftop you can see the sunset and the sea. There are two big bedrooms which were perfect for us and a comfortable kitchen corner. Outside, the children played with local cats and children. Car is suggested to go to Southern beaches and to the supermarket. Lovely hydillic place!! Hope to come back next year! Many Thanks to Katerina and Ilias for their kindness and for being Great guests.

Staying in this home in Trypiti was wonderful. We were part of this quaint neighborhood which offers restaurants and hiking. The home had everything we needed and Ilias and Katerina were so helpful. We are appreciative of this gem.

Feeling like home

We had a wonderful time in Milos. The house is in the nice village of Tripiti, near the lovely villages of Plaka and Klima. There is a stunning view from the terrace and it was very pleasant dining and watching the sunset. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the owners were there to help if needed. We really did feel at home, Ludovica.

Wonderful stay in a typical house with modern comfort

Incredible seaview on the rooftop that we enjoyed differently at all times of the day (from breakfast to sleeping under the stars). Large bedrooms with AC. The minuses : sometimes annoying noises (toilet bowl, water pump) - you can't throw toilet paper in the toilet bowls) The house is located in a typical village near a convenient parking lot (very narrow streets in the village, I would have liked to be advised to avoid them by car, and instead make a detour to reach the village parking lot).
