Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: TV, Woodburner Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher Utility Room: Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Toilet First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Stairgate. . Back garden with garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. As you walk through the door into the open plan living space, you’re met with comfy seating in front of the wood burner, offering the perfect place to warm tired feet on a cold evening. The kitchen and dining area is, again open plan, and has all the amenities you require to prepare everything from a simple sandwich to a Sunday roast. The chef can still engage in the discussion of the days events whilst whipping up a culinary delight for family or friends. The downstairs is completed by a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, toilet and basin. Outside is a contained garden with an accessible shed for bike storage. The upstairs is home to a master bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with twin beds, and there is also a family shower room with walk in shower. The village of Bootle is a quiet hamlet with a local store, it sits less than a mile away from unspoilt coastline on one side and the fells on the other with the impressive peaks Black Combe and Whitfell so is the ideal spot for walking and cycling enthusiasts that want to see some of the less trodden routes of this unspoilt region. However, if you still crave the tourist hotspots of the Lakes then Coniston Water and Lake Windermere are less than an hour’s drive, as are other attractions such as the Safari Zoo, Lakes aquarium, steam engine rides, escape rooms, Go Ape, the motor museum and the list goes on, so there is something for everyone from this little base in the Lakes.
