Conveniently located just 16 minutes from Birch Run and 18 minutes from Frankenmuth, this charming home offers easy access to top local attractions. Nestled on a peaceful 5-acre lot, Bur Oak House provides a cozy retreat where you can unwind after a day of exploration. This inviting home features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, making it ideal for families or couples. The stunning freestanding tub offers a serene spot for relaxation, helping you find tranquility during your stay. With beautiful green and orange accents throughout, complemented by unique artwork, Bur Oak House is a perfect blend of comfort, style, and an unbeatable location. The property is in a farming community, surrounded by operating farms. They use a natural liquid fertilizer, sprayed on soil prior to planting (early Spring) and right after harvesting (late Fall). You may experience a smell when fertilizer is being applied depending on the weather and wind direction. If you do experience a smell, it usually dissipates within 24-48 hours. This property also features a fully functional BAT HOUSE, which plays an important role in natural pest control. The bats help keep the mosquito and flying insect population in check, reducing the need for chemical sprays. It's important to respect the bats' habitat, so please avoid disturbing the bat house or allowing pets near it. This eco-friendly solution ensures a more enjoyable and pest-free environment without the use of harmful pesticides. It is adhered to the North back corner of the house and there is a protective landscape being constructed as a barrier. The home is warm and inviting with an open kitchen and great room. Two bedrooms and a full bath are on one side and the master with en suite full bath with double sinks, a soaking tub, and European walk in shower on the other side provide for privacy. The master bath has heated floors! We prepared grand feasts and caught up with each other while warming ourselves by the fire. The secluded location makes for a magical experience. The only suggestion we have is conversion to a soft water system. What an absolutely lovely property! The home layout is amazing, and the modernisation is so tasteful and well executed!A note: this is a three bedroom place, so ensure if you have more than 3 in your party you plan accordingly; we did, and it was a lovely experience.Also be aware that the final leg is on a dirt road; your map app may have a hard time, so download the route before heading out for offline use.The trek is WELL WORTH IT.The host is easy to reach and readily available if you need. Be aware the front door takes a bit to get used to unlocking.The fire pit and seating is all new and wonderful to have, as is the fireplace on cozy nights!You can see so many stars.For eating out and shopping, Birch Run and Frankenmuth can’t be beat, and there’s an Antique Store nearby that’s always hopping.Will definitely be on our “must return!” List! ##### Aaron O.
