Minutes from the national park’s white sandy beaches, close to town with many dining options. This retreat blends nature, comfort & location. Great for groups who want some separate space while together. Welcome to Spruce Cove Retreat! This is my personal home, and I live here in the off-season. I love it and hope you will too! Previously, I rented the two spaces separately, but this year, I’ve decided to combine them into one listing. Feel free to check out my other listings for past reviews on Airbnb. This is my first time hosting with VRBO. Whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, this property offers two separate houses—perfect for shared experiences with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Rentals are from Sunday-Sunday. The Main House: A spacious, open-concept retreat with breathtaking views of Tracadie Bay, featuring: • Bedrooms: 2 comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed. • Bathroom: 1 full bathroom. • Living Space: Large, airy living area with three giant picture windows offering panoramic views of the bay. • Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy the fresh air from two decks and a screened-in gazebo overlooking the water. • Amenities: • Air conditioning for those warm summer days. • A cozy propane fireplace for cooler evenings. • A fully stocked kitchen equipped with everything you need for home-cooked meals. The Guesthouse: A cozy yet spacious open-concept space, ideal for smaller groups or couples, featuring: • Sleeping Arrangements: • A queen-sized bed within the open living space. • A fold-out couch, great for an extra adult or 1-2 children. • Kitchen & Dining: A full-sized kitchen and dining table for meals and gatherings. • Living Area: A comfortable seating area with a couch and armchairs. • Bathroom: A full bathroom with a shower (please note, no bathtub). • Outdoor Space: Private outdoor seating area to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The Property: Nestled on 2 acres of beautiful land along Tracadie Bay, this property offers a perfect balance of tranquility and outdoor adventure. • Water Activities: Take advantage of 2 kayaks and a paddleboard available for guest use on the bay. • Firepit: Gather around the firepit for cozy evenings under the stars. • Privacy: The property offers a sense of seclusion, surrounded by trees. However, following Hurricane Fiona in 2022, some trees were lost, and while you can see neighboring properties, there’s still plenty of privacy to enjoy. The Location: Experience the serenity of quiet country life while being conveniently close to local attractions: • 20 minutes to Charlottetown, the island’s charming capital. • 5 minutes to white sandy beaches, perfect for relaxing or exploring the shoreline. • 10 minutes to the national park and scenic trails, offering excellent opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting. • Close to local restaurants and food trucks, serving up fresh island flavors. • Situated right on one of PEI’s scenic coastal drives, making it easy to explore some of the island’s best-hidden gems in any direction. Nature Lover’s Paradise: This property is a birder’s dream, with frequent sightings of eagles, osprey, and many other bird species soaring overhead. The property is spacious, well-equipped, and offers beautiful views. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and the BBQ to cook lobster during our stay. Traveling as two families with small children, we found the setup with two separate spaces absolutely perfect.
