The area is great and plenty of restaurants in the nearby town to try out. Very close to Muir woods and the neighborhood seemed very safe and was quiet. The unit was nice, with plenty of towels and a comfortable bed. Some of the lights were burned out (around the vanity), and one of the air ducts was taped onto the ceiling with packing tape. There was also a strange smell, sort of a fishy odor. Not sure if it was something from the upstairs unit as we did not cook anything while we were staying, but it was persistent and unpleasant. Every room provided a view and we had all of the essentials for a comfortable stay. The property is located only 15 mins from Sausalito boardwalk, and even closer to Muir Woods and many other great hikes and scenery. Nancy is a great and very responsive host.
