DETACHED GUEST HOUSE: Walk To Town, 1030 Sq Ft, 1 BR/1.5 BA, Mt. Tam Vie

Majestic views of Mt. Tam! This modern-furnished, spacious, stand-alone guest house has spectacular views of Mt. Tam and is about half a mile to downtown Mill Valley. The bedroom with queen bed and half bath is on the entry level and then upstairs is an open floor plan with a full sized kitchen, dining area, full bath and living area.

Comfy sheets and towels, full washer/dryer, full size viking fridge, wine fridge, fully equipped kitchen with coffee/toaster/blender/silverware/cooking pots/etc, large screen TV, cable, curated art on the walls.

This guest house has a queen bed for two people. There is a convertible DWR sofa bed for two additional guests (must be under the age of 12 yrs old). $20 per additional guest.

A la campagne, proche de la ville

Le logement est très bien pour 2 adultes. Tout l'équipement nécessaire est présent, et la configuration des pièces vous fait vous sentir dans un cocon. La maison est idéalement située pour se rendre à Sausalito, afin d'y prendre un repas ou visiter les Boathouse. Elle est toute aussi proche de la nature, plage, montagne. C'est un excellent point de départ pour la Napa et la Sonoma Valley, tout en étant à 30 minutes de San Francisco. Superbe endroit au calme en pleine nature.

Lovely Mill Valley Guest house

Loved it! Gorgeous view of Mt Tamp and so quiet at night. Loved the dedicated parking spot and so close to all that Mill Valley and Marin has to offer. We were very happy to spend a week there.

I lived in this beautiful house for 12 days. Everything was just perfect. The house is very nice, clean, and very quiet. The neiborhood is very nice and just few minutes driving from Mill Valley downtown. Moreover Grace was so nice!i'll definitely come back to this property!

Spacious and full of light

We've stayed 6 rentals in MV, this is our favorite! Upstairs beautiful, many windows /skylights, views all around. Sitting area full view of Mt. Tam! Separate unit; no noise from others. Spacious, smartly designed, lots conveniences. Street parking convenient alongside unit.Upstairs, spacious kitchen, all appliances. Eating area looks across street, saw several bird species. Ice maker/dispenser, wine cooler, etc. Sitting area nice couch; wish chair were larger. Skylight in stairwell lovely.Downstairs, bed incredibly soft/comfy. Bed has window & 2nd TV set. I really wanted a chair in bedroom.Upstairs bathroom has nice shower (door is a bit narrow). Counter space small, sink has grab-n-pull stopper. Toilet: no fan. Angled ceiling; if male, you may bonk head when use toilet. Downstairs bath very large, no door, lots counter space, toilet has fan & privacy wall, no door. Sink has corrugated surface like inverted Aztec pyramid. Funkiness just adds to the charm. Mysterious, closet-like recess behind curtain. Both bathroom sink faucets are short. Lots electrical outlets! Getting hot water can be slow at 1st. Hot/cold direction odd on some faucets. Fine after figured out. Shower plenty water flow.Pleasant/spectacular walk to town through redwoods. Enjoyed long stairs, steep dramatic scenery, some may find it tough. Neighborhood has very narrow roads.Once you stay 2 days, you will wish could stay 2 weeks! We absolutely loved it.

Perfect Stay

What do you most care about when you’re looking to rent a place? I know what we most care about. Is the bed comfortable? Yes, it is. Is the place clean? Absolutely. Is it quiet? Perfectly quiet and still. Is it within walking distance of the village? It is. And it’s a good walk. But you can also drive your car. There’s plenty of parking. Are the owners nice and easy to deal with? More than that, they are kind and thoughtful. In fact, I really didn’t even want to tell you how wonderful this place is because I’m afraid it will get too popular and then we won’t have it when we need it. Lol 😆. It’s actually two stories, with the bedroom downstairs and a half bath and bathroom area for washing up and doing your makeup, etc. Then you go up the stairs and the upstairs is this absolutely gorgeous view with Windows everywhere, a full kitchen, a little eating area, couches, and chairs to watch TV. Just a great little townhouse. Highly recommend it. Just don’t take it when we want it!
