This is a cottage in the private beach community in the Primehook National Wildlife Refuge which has over 8,000 acres of untouched beauty. The community is 5 miles off Route 1 and is small and relaxed! You can swim and fish right in front of the house; you can be on the beach at anytime (sleep on it if you like) and may have a bonfire in the evening if it's not too windy! As mentioned previously, we have a new patio where you can grill, eat and view the beach as well as enjoy the late afternoon breeze. The cottage has three bedrooms but can accommodate additional sleepers via couch, sofa bed (full mattress), and air mattress (queen). 15 minutes to Milton for grocery and shopping center; 15 minutes to Lewes; 25 minutes to Rehoboth and Dewey beaches if you want shopping (outlets and small, unique stores), movies, restaurants, jet ski, bike rentals, etc. Keywords: 3Br/1Ba Beach cottage, refurbished bedrooms, new AC/Heat, new windows, new bathroom, w/d, new septic. It was right on the bay and great for swimming and the surrounding area by the nature reserve was also beautiful for walks. The area is very animal friendly so lots of dog folk around. As for the house it had plenty of room and the layout was great! The sunroom was your own private nature viewing - birds and bunnies and sand crabs right out the window! Fantastic appliances in the kitchen if you like to cook. We drove to Lewes and Bethany once or twice but for the most part enjoyed the neighborhood and the bay. Restaurants and the grocery store are only about a 15 min drive. Sandy was also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this as a great vacation spot for anybody who wants to get away but doesn't want the hustle and crowds of a boardwalk or busy town. ##### Sarena T.
