« Wonderful spacious home and very clean. All necessary amenities. Puzzles and games were are bonus. Great back yard and awesome covered deck with good seating, large picnic table, and perfect hot tub. Great hosts very responsive. Make sure to download direction as cell service limited as you get closer. WiFi worked great. »

« We stayed for two weeks in this quaint home. The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time. »

« Our family truly enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin! The cabin was clean and well stocked. The lake is a short 2 min walk just across the street. It was so easy to launch our kayaks there too. We loved the firepit and used it almost every night! Lastly, you can easily fit 3 cars in the drive way. »

« This was the perfect getaway house for myself and my daughters sweet 16! Her and her friends took full advantage of the device hot tub, fire pit and games. Let’s not forget to mention the golf cart. The lake and boat launch are so close, we seam out into the middle of the cove with tubes and chilled on the lake. Was the perfect weekend, with all the best amenities. Highly recommend! »

« The Cottage was so clean and welcoming. There was a lot of space for our family of four and dog to relax, play games, read, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms are beautiful and the open kitchen and living space made it easy to spend time together comfortably. « Spent the 4th of July weekend here with my wife and our dogs and we loved the convenience of the location being so close to Lake Wallenpaupack and Hawley. Had all the amenities we needed and the dogs found it quiet and cozy for their much needed “relax” time as well. Highly recommended! »

« We loved our stay at Bear Pause Retreat. Comfortable, quiet, beautifully, and comfortably decorated with all the right amenities.
