Vrbo has this house not far from Bar Harbor, but it is actually a bit over an hour drive. We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. While the description noted it, realize that this property is about an hour from Acadia/Bar Harbor. We weren't familiar with the area, and when description said close to Acadia/Schoodic Point, we didn't realize that wasn't the main part of the national park. Newly updated and very clean. Loved the area. Tough finding restaurants open past 7pm but that’s no reflection on this rental. Schoodic Peninsula is amazing; one our favorite places on our trip.. So much to see in the area if you don’t want to drive to Bar Harbor. Only suggestion is a hand rail on the stairs going up to the bedroom.
