It looks gorgeous in the photographs and in real life it surpassed expectations! The views and beautiful furnishings make it a very special place to stay. The hosts had left us a very thoughtful welcome basket full of delicious goodies and the Villa manager, Maria, was incredibly kind and helpful. Location was perfect, we loved walking down to the beach for a morning stroll and it was very convenient to also have great restaurants close by - everything we needed was within walking distance!Our stay at Casa Colina was just one of the stops on our tour around Andalusia, but this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by Maria, who showed us how everything worked and was on hand via WhatsApp to answer any questions during our stay.The views from the house are simply stunning and it really was a treat to stay somewhere so beautiful. The experience of watching the morning sunrise is something that I will never forget... you just have to see it! All areas are tastefully decorated, the kitchen/bathrooms are of high specification and the beds were super comfy. The pool and garden are lovely and the villa location is also excellent. Just a quick walk to some great restaurants (our favourite was Las Llaves - amazing steak!) and the nearby supermarket came in very handy. The pre departure information was very useful and Maria was on hand to greet us and provide all the information we could need.The villa itself is stunning, very modern and incredibly well stocked with everything you could need for the trip.The pool is warm and the gardens are beautifully maintained with both outdoor and indoor eating areas. Staying as a group, it was great that each bedroom also had it's own bathroom.Just a 5 min walk takes you to local restaurants, bars and well stocked supermarket. A 15/20 min walk along the promenade right on the beach takes you into the centre of La Cala Di Mijas (with restaurants etc along the way). We had an incredible trip and would love to visit again. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible setup (spacious and beautifully designed). It truly felt like a home away from home. Hard to believe, but it’s even nicer in person than in the pictures! There were 5 adults and 1 infant in our group and the villa had more than enough room for all of us to relax comfortably without ever feeling cramped.The cleanliness of the space was impeccable. Everything was spotless on arrival and clearly well-maintained. It’s always a relief when a place exceeds expectations on hygiene, especially when traveling with a little one.One of the standout features was the view (especially watching the sunrise on the terrace, coffee in hand!) and proximity to the beach—it was just a short 10 minute stroll away, making it so easy to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea whenever we wanted. The villa was also fully stocked with everything we needed, which made the stay completely hassle-free.Communication with the team was smooth and professional throughout. They were responsive, friendly and always ready to help with any questions or requests we had.All in all, a fantastic experience that we’d recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality beachside stay.
