Booked room. Went to hotel. Spent 15 minites walking around lookinf for whoever was supposed to be at front desk. Found her. She said she could look uo my reservation but was going to just give me a room. We had to walk to rooms to see if they were clean. Couldnt find a clean room. Eventually i was just given a room at partner hotel right next to it. I was let into room but not given a key because she had no way to make a key. After discovering the heater was broke i jist left and got a different hotel somewhere else. Lots of unsavory characters hanging around. Plenty of drug sellers and users out in tje open. Stay away. Even if it is the last room in town. Sllep in your car or on a park bench

I have stayed at budget hotels before, this was terrible. The toilet was not bolted to the floor. The caulking around the base of the toilet was all coming off. The hotel grounds were unkept. Most of the night the tenant above me was pacing loudly and I could hear almost every step. I had two remotes in my room and one had no batteries and required AAA the other had AA batteries and neither worked the tv. I was locked out of my room ( this happens occasionally at any hotel) and went to the front desk to get the key re-made.I stood around for 30 minutes waiting for someone to return (this should never happen anywhere). When someone finally showed up there was no apology or even recognition of the inconvenience.

Very disappointed
I know you get what you pay for BUTTTTTTTT if your not going to provide bed Linens then state it in your ad . We had 5 pillows and 1 of which had a pillow case. I used pj pants to cover my pillow… upon arrival we were asked smoking or non smoking we said Non BUTTTTTT much to our surprise the room smelt horribly of smoke and was nasty.

Good value if you don’t mind a run-down atmosphere
Great value for the money, but scary-looking neighborhood. The building is in really bad shape —crumbling walkways, holes in the walls in the room, poor-fitting door. BUT the gentleman in the office was pleasant and helpful; the room, linens and appliances were clean and the area was quiet except for the trains that rumbled through a half block away. We weren’t bothered by them. The room was reasonably large and included a kitchenette with a working refrigerator and microwave. The stovetop was not working, and breakfast is not available as advertised.

Staff were excellent. Check in was 3pm, but they let me check in at 11am. This is a "get what you pay for" kind of hotel. I just needed a cheap room to sleep in for 6 hours before work and this fit the bill. Property is very old, and it just feels like a kind of place where shady stuff happens pretty regularly. That being said, i needed a place to sleep, and it worked fine for that.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone it was dirty and there was bugs. Also they don’t do housekeeping if you stay longer than one day.

When I arrived, I was given a room, but when I went to the room the door was wide open. The room a mess, so I guess it wasn’t cleaned. Later they gave me another room, but there was blood stains on the pillow cases, the top blanquet had white stains (I don’t wanna think what they could have been) The chair next to the bed had stains. There were no toiletries, no flat iron. Oh and they didn’t have breakfast like they offered on the website. Overall 2/10. I think spending the night in my car would have been better.

The property is disgusting. There were bugs all over the front door, on tbe walls inside the room, bugs and worms on the floor. The light fixtures didn't work, lamps in all rooms. Restrooms were disgustingly dirty. Did not stay there. I was on the room for no more than 5 minutes and just had to leave. I wasnt going to have my family stay in a place as filthy as that.

I didnt like that the tv didnt work an i called the office an the guy said he would come look at it. He never came to look at it an so the next day i reported it again an the lady said there was nothing to be done so i had to do without the tv which was very disappointing an boring. It was the worst service ive ever had...asked if there was some kind of discount but they said i already had the lowest rate so they couldnt do anything id just have to wait. I havent heard nothing back from them

So there is three hotels owned and managed by the same people in one parking lot. They were so slow in business they close down one hotel. At first they try to put me in the rear hotel but after going to two different rooms that were still dirty they told me they don’t even have a housekeeper and that everybody’s hours that got cut I politely offered to help them clean the rooms if they wanted to help give me a room which they said the owners would not do that because they’re too cheap. So they move me to the front hotel which is the hometown suite. At this point I was dripping sweat hot cranky ready to cool down and looked and seen it was clean unlike the other two rooms but by the evening time refrigerator had leaked water on the floor with sandals I slipped. I am full disabled that could’ve caused a major accident. So I contacted front Dess what she told me I needed to wait and talk to somebody in the morning I was called this morning and they told me manager is not there she won’t be there till later I said yeah well maybe gone I need to know do you know about extending my stay if y’all are going to comp all these problems and they said oh no they will say ...you have a problem you can leave. So after three rooms and still having issues and them being so short staffed that they don’t even wanna clean them properly during a pandemic and this one having a safety issue with there’s water on tile flooring that could cause a major accident with a disabled individual

Made a reservation and when i arrived to check in the next shift employee wasn't on time and the previous shift employee couldn't check me in, i was tired and wanted to go to bed but couldn't because the lady that was supposed to be in her post wasn't there, they mademe wait more than 30 minutes to check in.

This property is so terrible no human should be subjected to it: dirty towels, no working shower or tub, dirty floors, trash under the beds, no blankets, terrible broken down beds. Because there were no blankets, we slept in our clothes to stay warm. The outside is dirty, trash-strewn and looks like a war zone. Best value? If it had not been late and we dead tired, we would have left when we opened the door. It was a really poor decision to stay - but it won't happen again! Beware!!

One of the worst experience I’ve ever had I will never stay here ever again they don’t even offer a towel the shower didn’t work we ended up getting a cup and getting water from the sink to be able to get a shower they don’t care and didn’t get my money back

Check-in and check-out were great. Employees were very pleasant. As we entered the room there was change in front of the door and the floor was very dirty as if they had only moped the center of the room. The textured walls had blood and other stains on them. The sheets and towels seemed clean as well as most surfaces. The bathroom was fairly clean.

Bad hotel
Got to the hotel and there was a sign on the door to go to another hotel to check in. Went to the other hotel and she said she would meet us back at this hotel. We waited over 30 minutes before she came. Room was very dirty.

Syringes with drugs left in the room, moldy cups of fruit in the moldy refrigerator, no towels, over all the place was totally disgusting will NEVER consider that place again .

My stay at American best value was really the best . The Texas people like they say are very friendly. The room from as soon as I open the door smelled clean the water was really ro water and the hot water never ran out . I will definitely be stay with you guys once again . Thank you 🙏 so much .

Pleasant Room
The interior and layout of the room was pleasing, with enough space. The AC kept the room comfortable without much noise. The water was hot when needed. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, it was quite acceptable, with the shuttered windows to boot. True, hotel rooms can almost always be cleaner, so wipe the counters after checking into your room if you wish.
