We live in Eastern NC and my sister lives in central Illinois. This was a great midpoint for us to meet spend some time together (all 65+). The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The downstairs bedroom would have been a good space for teenagers. We were about 15 minutes from Shipshawana for shopping/dining/concerts. We took a side trip to Portage, MI (about 1 hr away) to visit the Air Zoo (highly recommend) and had late lunch at Black Stone Bar and Grill (highly recommend). The kitchen had lots of countertop space which was nice. We didn't use the basement, but it was a nice setup with lots of space and a separate bedroom. The location was great and easy to get to.
