« Overall we had a great experience. The place is lovely. Sitting on the Balcony was fun. It was cool that we could see the sun rise on Lake Erie from the balcony and Sunset on Sandusky Bay about a 100 Feet down the lane. It was clean. We went off season, but still had lots of things to do. Great central location, we were close to Port Clinton, Catawba Island, Marblehead, Sandusky, Huron, and Vermillion. »

We came to go to Cedar point it’s just a few miles right down road , we also went to Pro Football hall of fame which was just an hour half drive from this home . Lots a good places to eat close by to , highly recommend Barra Tacos :) beautiful sunrises and sunsets at this property . We will stay here again for sure when we come back to this area . »

« The Hummingbird Nest was the perfect rental for our annual Girls Trip with 3 generations of our family. « We accepted the fact that we booked this condo with nothing to do on this island. This particular condo was janky. The overall layout and view at this building is great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. « This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island. »
