Great Place to Stay Not Far from Beach

Beautiful Home within walking distance of a beautiful and uncrowded beach. We loved every minute of our stay while there.

Cousin Reunion

We really enjoyed the open kitchen and living room. There was plenty of room to spread out and have several conversion areas. The kitchen had everything we neededneeded

A Perfect Stay!

wonderful

the place is fabulous. it is walking distance to beach and 2 great restaurants. it is also very close to Blue chip casino/ resort which was very helpful because the wedding festivities were located there or the shuttles to the wedding venue left from there. Advise for owners- add iron and ironing board and put some window coverings on small windows in master bedroom.

Family weekend getaway

This is a beautiful home. My family and I stayed for my birthday weekend to visit wineries. We had a great time. This home had everything we needed. Parking is very limited. If you have more than 2 cars, the overflow parking for the resort is not within walking distance. Overall, we had a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute townhouse

There is a serious problem with the heating. It was extremely hot upstairs and we froze downstairs. Toilet paper holder is dangling on the wall in upstairs bathroom. Needs attention. Loved the open area with living room and kitchen. Not much parking area.

Thanksgiving

Clean and well stocked. We had 3 vehicles from 3 different States. Parking was tight but manageable with a little finagling. Nice place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Chilly on the first floor but toasty warm on the 2nd floor.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property had its appealing aspects, but several issues detracted from our experience. The location matched the description, but the property description lacked some important details. While the house had four bedrooms, only two were equipped with televisions, which was unexpected and inconvenient. Additionally, we encountered several cleanliness issues: debris was present on the floors, the shower curtain was quite dirty, one of the shower drains was not functioning properly, and the hot tub water was green and cloudy. The hot tub was a key amenity we were looking forward to, but unfortunately, we couldn't use it during our full stay. Given the $250 cleaning and linen fee, we expected the property and its amenities to be in impeccable condition. I reached out to the owner about these concerns, but the only response we received regarding the hot tub was that "the spa guy stated that he came out to service the hot tub." Although someone did come to address the issue the following day, this did little to improve our experience, especially with our stay being only three days long. Overall, these issues were quite disappointing.

I have to say it was the best time of our time

Reviewer Comments: Have to say at first I was a little upset when I realize we did not belong to the Beachwalk resort even when I made the reservation through their website . But once we went into the house it was very cute and clean and the hot tub was a great hit for the kids after the beach . Definitely would highly recommend it

Dune Escape provided us a comfortable, beautiful home to unwind and refresh after a very busy weekend. A great location provides an easy walk to the beach as well as to the zoo. And dinner at the nearby Bridges restaurant was a great outing on our last night.

Dune Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house and the location was great. The distance from the beach and other attractions makes this a very nice spot to be in. I was also impressed with how quiet the house was between neighbors. We did however experience a few issues with the stay. Several doors in the house did not close well due to hinges being ripped from the doors or wall. Knobs and loose hardware was just stuck in drawers left to roll around each time they were opened. And maybe worst of all, one of the beds was full of sand from a previous guest that had never been washed. Aside from a few maintenance and cleaning issues these rentals offer a great place to stay while in Michigan City
