A new family home in a safe, great community 5 minutes from Restaurants, and cinemas with quick access to central Miami and all Beaches: Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and South Beach to name a few. Best for all types guest holidays; see perfect beaches and great attractions of South Florida. Access to Key West, and the American Indians (Miccosukee) reservations in the heart of the Everglades. This home is perfectly located between the best of what South Florida has to offer. Relaxing in the house and do nothing, is also an option.

This is a newly built family town home, in a quiet, safe, sweet (24-hour security in cars) community within 5 minutes of restaurants, cinemas, and quick access to central Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and South Beach. We have 4 rooms: a king-size room with 2 full-size beds; a queen room with 1 queen-size bed; a kids room with 2 single beds; one OPEN Plan room with one queen-size sofa bed real bed.

You will be greeted by a warm host who will be happy to orient you in the Homestead and Miami area, and invite you into your fully equipped vacation home in a tropical setting located in the Homestead area. This is known for its beautiful architecture, lush foliage, safety, serenity, restaurants, entertainment, and business all available within 5 5-minute drive distance.

When we arrived to check in, there was a young family with three kids already there who had booked it that day. We called "Christopher" and he did not know what happened, was flummoxed as to what to do, and not very helpful. Our reservations were made 2 months plus earlier but we could not see forcing the young family out and they were also adamant about not leaving since they had been drinking and were not in a condition to leave. We finally voluneered to find other alternatives for three days (the other family's booking) and would then return. Christopher assured us we would be compensated. After a week of badgering after we had left the house, I finally got a note from Christopher saying we would be getting a 450 refund, When it finally showed up on our credit card, the amount was 387\. We got no apologies or thanks for our gesture of leaving. We got no additional monies beyond the daily rate refund. According to what Christopher told us, VRBO was not cooperative nor helpful.Having said all this, once we were in the house, it was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty sparse in supplies and there were no condiments of any type, even salt and pepper. Had probably the nicest leather couches I have ever seen, let alone in a rental house.

The host was very responsive and kind. The kitchen needs some re-stocking though and some of the beds weren't very comfortable. There were bikes available, but 3/4 were broken. One of the rollaway cots was broken as well. The A/C quit working one night but re-started. We did appreciate the large space and the proximity to the Everglades and Keys. The immediate neighborhood seemed safe.

As far as being centrally located to Biscayne and Everglades National Parks I give this place a 10\. And communication with the host was easy and quick. Unfortunately, the house left a bit to be desired. We booked our stay for 10 days/9 nights and was drawn to this home because it had a washer/dryer and a bbq (eating out gets old fast!). There were only enough briquettes for one meal, and that was only after we cleaned the dirty bbq. There wasn’t any laundry detergent for the washer, and also no dish soap to hand wash any dishes. Only one garbage bag was provided and a half roll of paper towels (definitely not enough for. 10-day stay). I’m also used to having some kitchen staples provided (salt, pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil). There were plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and pans but those little extras go a long way. Lastly, the “queen” bed was actually a queen bed frame and box spring with a full size mattress on top. We would have slept in the other rooms but those mattresses were very uncomfortable. A few other things that could benefit from some attention are the curtains on the slider that kept falling down, and the broken lock that was “fixed” by putting a piece of wood in the door jamb. The house was adequate but could definitely use some updating to make it more comfortable and some TLC to make it more homey.

Overall, the space was nice. It lookes like they are in the middle of doing some updating because some of the walls looked like they were fettjnf ready to be oainted. The advertised garage was very small and we didnt park the van we had in it. The only down sides were the location of the TV in the livingroom didnt allow our group to all sit and watch TV together in the evenings and a minor things were the ice machine disnt work in the refrigerator and there wrre multiple burnt out light bulbs in the master bathroom.

I like this property because is close to many places and some good restaurants like Olive Garden, outback steakhouse, Texas roadhouse, has lot space for a townhouse, I definitely recommend to anyone,. specifically those who has big family like me, family of 6 we fit perfectly fine. Overall nice property. Except for hard beds and unresponsive owner. Pros: Property is roomy and kitchen is well equipped but has nothing but dishes and pots and pans. Cons: Owner did not provide a local POC or contact information where they are reachable. Only provide property access information a few hours prior to check in and only after I was on the phone with VRBO customer service. Internet stopped working on the second day and owner was unreachable. Was restored next day. No toiletries are provided so if flying prepare to bring some or by them. No dish soap or sponges provided except for dish washer fluid. One of the beds is a mismatched mattress/box spring combo (queen bow spring with twin mattress and mattress slides around.

#### Lovely home and centrally located

This was a perfect place to stay to access all entrances to the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. We also traveled to Miami one day, which was also a reasonable distance (if it wasn't for the traffic). Many restaurants within 10- 15 minute drive of the property. Shivers BBQ, as mentioned by several other reviews, was a good choice. The house was immaculate, spacious with a wonderful layout, and had all you needed for a 5 day stay. Check-in/check-out was seemless. The host was responsive to any questions I had. Would definitely recommend.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, die Umgebung ist ruhig und ausgesprochen angenehm.Nur die Matratze in dem großen Bett (in dem Zimmer ohne Bad) ist ziemlich unbequem. Es wäre gut, die verschiedenen Bedienungsanleitungen für die Spülmaschine etc. gut sichtbar hinzulegen, die haben wir erst am Ende des Aufenthalts gefunden.
