Casa Blanca is two incredible properties in one. The main home is tucked behind beautifully landscaped grounds and a tall bamboo fence. The ground level (1st floor) features one bedroom with a queen bed plus bathroom, kitchen. The upper level (second floor) features a Master Bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom. In the rear of the home, there is an independent cottage which features a secondary Master Bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom that features a sunken tub and separate shower. Between both indoor areas, there are outdoor showers and private entertaining spaces.The post and beam architecture of this iconic 1925 artist retreat takes you back in time while the updated fixtures, modern amenities and screened in coral pool help ensure you enjoy the comfort of today. PARKING: Free driveway parking for up to TWO vehicles. NO parking for additional cars or visitors. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is by 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out can be arranged, please inquire about pricing when booking. Availability will be confirmed closer to reservation date. BEDROOMS: This home sleeps 6 guests in 3 beds. Main House: Bedroom 1: 1 KING (Sleeps 2) Bedroom 2: 1 QUEEN (Sleeps 2) Cottage: Bedroom 3: 1 KING (Sleeps 2) Bungalow: Bedroom 4: 2 FULL BEDS (1 BUNK BED OF 2 FULL BEDS) (Sleeps 4) – available by request only Note: There are 2 bedrooms in the main house and a private master suite including a luxury bathroom in the cottage. The cottage is accessed via the outdoor pool/courtyard. In addition to these three bedrooms, there is an independent bungalow in the rear with a twin daybed w/trundle. BATHROOMS: There are 3 bathrooms in this home. KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is in the main house is on the ground level(1st floor) and is fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay, from oil and spices to top of the line gourmet amenities. It’s outfitted with a full stove/oven, all your cookware, cutlery, plates, bowls and cups. There is a traditional drip style coffee pot and a toaster. EXTRAS THAT YOU'LL LOVE: High speed internet access; luxury bed linens/bath towels; washer/dryer; hair dryer; iron/board; outdoor grill; outdoor seating; beach chairs; beach towels; beach umbrella; all available for your use. DISCLAIMER: The entire property is smoke/vape free. No gatherings, parties, weddings, baby showers or birthdays allowed. This is an ideal home for a small group of adult family members/friends (no children under the age of 16 or pets allowed), in search of a lush retreat, while still minutes away from the trendy Coconut Grove “vibe." The privacy of this property and our guests is of the utmost importance and therefore the house rules lend themselves to that. We had grandparents with us, one with mobility issues so the first floor bedroom and bathroom was ideal. The access to the 2nd floor master has a staircase with narrow triangular steps that require some care and agility. But the 2nd floor bedroom is spacious, beautiful and well appointed. The bungalow suite is beautiful and comfortable as well. We enjoyed having a living and sleeping space away from the main house. We utilized the bunk room also and it a comfortable sleeping space for the young adults with us. The top bunk was just long enough for a 5’6” person. They’ve thought of everything here. From the sound system to pool towels and cheese knives. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you will need for a group. We found serving platters, Plenty of plates, bowls, glassware, and we even found a marble cheeseboard. The outside areas were very inviting. We enjoyed the screened in pool area and the dipping pool. There was plenty of seating for everyone with the sectional sofa and the dining table and lounge chairs. We enjoyed sitting in the sun as well as the shaded covered areas when it rained. The exterior walkway is the only challenge we experienced with the grandparents it was not ideal. The walkway and parking area has Gravel with round stepping stones. It made it a bit challenging to wheel luggage into the house, hard to walk on in heels and challenging for those who are unsteady in their feet. This was a great rental! A couple of very nice surprises- the cabana is really elegant, and there is a bonus bedroom if needed. The master bedroom is up a spiral staircase that is not easy to navigate. The other bedroom in the main house does not have an en-suite bathroom. Rather, that bathroom and shower is on the other side of the house, through the kitchen. Also the pool is a tiny plunge pool, and there is astroturf (not grass) in the back yard. The property manager was very nice by phone, but when the carbon monoxide alarm went off, she sent a non-English speaking service man over to check it out. Lovely home. The pictures on the site look amazing, so I was praying the house was as advertised. It was!!! Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. On the way to the house from the airport we drove through a pretty sketchy looking neighborhood and got a little concerned. Our fears were short lived. This house is actually in a beautiful neighborhood. Once we explored a little more we found a main street with plenty of nice restaurants and shops. The home was very clean and had all of the essential items needed in the kitchen and for the bath. There was an issue with the wi-fi when we first arrived, but with a phone call to the property management that was resolved quickly. The pool was great for our group, but if you’re someone that likes to swim laps it may be a little to small. It’s not necessarily a walkable neighborhood, but everything you need is a short drive/Uber ride away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. ##### Zeone S. The house, neighborhood, and property owner were A+. We loved the peacocks in the neighborhood, including a group of six that one day hung out for an hour on top of the screen that covers the patio pool. Every day we walked into town for coffee, a meal, or to people watch, or to one of the local gardens like Kampong or Barnacle Park. The beaches at Key Biscayne are about a twenty minute drive, uncrowded, and magnificent. We often had four people holding Zoom meetings simultaneously with not a single problem. with the wifi. The property manager accommodated our special needs quickly and without question. We have rented several homes in the area and Casa Blanca certainly didn’t disappoint. The home is very clean, very good kitchen that was well outfitted, W/D new, beds very comfortable, AC worked very well. Towels and bedding were high end - sometimes you rent a house and the pillows and sheets and towels are hand-me-downs. Not so with this house. Check in process was a breeze. Easy to deal with via text. Very responsive. Although the house itself is wonderful, I would be remiss in not mentioning how beautiful the grounds around the home are. Several private outdoor seating areas. The pool is in a courtyard. All very nice. Finally, house is close to anything and everything you may need - grocery stores, restaurants, etc. ##### Vicki M.
