I WAITED AT THE AIRPORT 2 HRS, MY FLIGHT LANDED AT 9:23, I GOT TO THE HOTEL AFTER 12:00. I CALLED THE HOTEL AND THE MAN AND THE WOMEN ON THE DESK AT THAT TIME WAS VERY RUDE TO ME. I SAT IN THE LOBBY UNTIL AFTER 3, THE LADY KEPT SAYING, ROOM WAS NOT READY. THE WHITE COUPLE CAME IN AND GOT A ROOM. THE NEXT LADY CAME ON DUTY, I WENT TO HER AND SHE GOT ALL OF THE PEOPLE OF COLOR, WAITING THEIR ROOM. I HAVE TRAVELED THE WORLD, NEVER EXPERIENCD THIS TREATMENT. SORRY!

I had to ask several times to get a toilet seat for my toilet. The bed was hard as a rock and I'm pretty sure there were bed bugs because I was very itchy ! The girl who answered the phone when I called to switch rooms mocked my voice! The only reason I'm being generous with the rating is because they were cool that I over slept passed check out time! And the guy who checked me in was super nice!

Old hotel! A bit disappointing experience. The hotel is in really poor conditions. Wifi is weak and doesn't work in all the spots. People around make you feel unsafe. I would avoid if it is a family trip. Staff in the restaurant is nice but the rest is standard

Good location to airport and shopping
The hotel is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The shuttle only comes at certain times I called from the airport and was told I would have to wait 2 hours for the next shuttle. I ended up getting a taxi 35 $. The main elevator was not working so it meant a walk to the next one and then a walk to your room. One of the wall sockets, next to the desk did not work.

Worst hotel ever
Anyone thinking of staying at this hotel , DONT, unless u want to be robbed. Checked in on morning of the 30th august 2017, the front desk gave me the keys and I went to the 2nd bldg, there was a sign at that bldg saying that the desk clerk will not be there direct all calls to the front bldg, the bldg smelled like pure marijuana I could of gotten high in the elevator. When I reached in the room there was no water, when I called front desk they said that it was a city problem, the hotel didn't even have a backup supply. The next morning I saw a crime scene investigator speaking to a guest, who's room was robbed, apparently there was no sign of forced entry and he was suggesting it was hotel staff. There are a lot of weird and dangerous characters late at night. I stayed in a few ramada's already the one at fort lauderdale and in Orlando, so I trusted this chain of hotels, big disappointment, oh before I forget we booked the hotel for 4 guest , didn't know hotel policy is 2 towel a room. AS A INDICATION OF PROTEST I WILL NOT BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL IN THIS CHAIN I WILL FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE I KNOW IF RAMADA DOES NOT ADDRESS THIS SITUATION.

great shuttle nothing else to offer
I like the shuttle service to the various shopping centres and the drivers were courteous and very accomodating however after making your purchases you basically are on your own to get them to your room as their is no bell boy to assist you the trolleys are deplorable only one elevator was working and it was better to take the stairs than to wait

Convenient location in the middle of everything
1st my wife and I did not get the room we booked via Expedia. we got two single beds, not the king we wanted or at least a queen substitute. 3x before entering our room we had to get new key card, as they were not opening the door. The door took effort to open and the entire door frame shook when handling the door. (but it locked well) Check out was a breeze. Hotel is close to a mall and various types of restaurants. I recommend it for the convenience, however tlit is 1.5 to 2.0 stars. And a rennovation is overdue.

check in and out was excellent, location too. front desk staff professional, lobby was run down, all furniture broken and need replacing a lot of guest traffic and because of college starting, a lot of students in our building on the above floors. security was good, felt safe although a lot of students present and hanging around, but can understand that guest can feel uncomfortable with a lot of students dressed like spring-break style. Loud music was being played occasionally and was dealt with security. The room condition on ground floor was poor, called 2nd day for repair to broken safe and standing lamp broken switch but never dealt with during our 10-day stay. Housekeeping was always late in the afternoon around 2pm when we wanted to relax in the room, but could understand if they had to deal with students in house on 3rd+4th floor in building B. Everybody spoke Spanish first before changing to English, found it odd but experienced same in all restaurants in Hialeah and gotten used to it. (I can understand Spanish and speak a little)

I made reservations in adavance, unfortunately my plane got delayed and I was not able to go the first day of my reservation. I called to make sure that my reservation was not cancelled but the hotel's Internet was down and they spoke to one of the employees but when I got there the next day, I no longer had my reservation and I had to call Expedia.

The some of the room lights were missing or not working.I kept my shoes on in the room because the carpets were very dingy looking and musty smelling. There was rust or something around the drainpipe in the tub, gross!

Good location for shopping not a nice hotel
First of all I've never stayed at a hotel where the 90% of the staff are just rude!! I'm the kind of person that even if I don't know you I will still greet you especially if I have to walk past you, I thought hotels did training for these kind of things, but I guess not. There were two people that I had to interact with that where really nice and polite there was a lady when I was checking out and the guy that you collect your packages from. The AC in my room was so loud that I didn't sleep well, my tub was dirty, didn't have blanket to cover up with, and carpet was sticky.

Terrible Experience
We got to the hotel around 5pm and were unable to check in until after midnight because their system was down. We attempted to kill time by going to their restaurant inside of the hotel, but the food was so bad that we ended up just paying for it and leaving. The room was lack luster, the elevator was in poor condition and we had to call for clean towels. When I asked management about how they planned to accommodate us for the delayed check in, they stated that free breakfast vouchers were available earlier that morning but breakfast was no longer being served at that point and since I prepaid through orbitz, there was nothing that they could do for me. Worst experience ever.

Good shopping and near many food places.
We only spent a few hours overnight, the room was comfortable. I'm of the opinion that all hotel rooms should have a microwave and small fridge as standard. We got what we paid for, nothing fancy but, a safe place for a short period.

Worst ever
This place should never be considered as a hotel. I have never seen a hotel that is this filthy. I had plates with food in them that had fallen behind the end tables and looked like they have been their for days. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. The carpet in the room was wet from a leak from somewhere. The sheets and pillow cases had stains on them. Not to mention the dead buds in the room. I just can't imagine this place getting 3 stars. Maybe -3 stars. Never again. It's bad for Expedia to have this type of hotel on their list. I have used Expedia numerous times for my travel needs, and this is the worst ever.

Great location but unanticipated disappointments
The hotel experienced some major difficulties with their computers and were unable to check us in the day of arrival. We got there at about 10pm, but did not get a key to the room until after midnight. There was no internet access the two days that we spent there. There are some great, polite and helpful staff but the two receptionists we met on our arrival are very unprofessional, lack work ethics and certainly not fit for the hospitality industry. Everyone complained them that night. This was reported and we understood that they were new. Apart from this disappointment, the hotel is ideally located next to a big shopping mall, fast food chains, minutes from the airport and other shopping areas. I would go back there just for this. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The airport shuttle drivers are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

This was a nightmare hotel there were roaches in the room, the ac didn't work, we had to wait till 430 to check in. Everything in this place was filthy. I will never stay there again. My advice to anyone reading this do not check in to this hotel.

We had a reservation through Expedia.com. When we got there they said they did not have a room for us even though the reservation was in place for a couple of weeks. So as they checked they found something for us (it was only for one night) The hotel was just ok. The room wasn't that great - tv did not work well. Was not a very bright room. We ate in the restaurant food was just ok. Staff was nice.

when I first walked in the lobby it seemed very clean. Than they told us we had our room in the back building, we were okay with it. the lobby from the back building it was nasty dirty. we go to our room and first impressions were good, but after a minute of turning the lights on and looking carefully the room was dirty. the carpet was not cleaned right, the bathroom has handles for you to grab on "heck no" rusty dirty nasty. The bathroom shares a ventilator or somethibg like that and the people next door were smoking weed, so our room smelled like weed if we let the bathroom door open. i would not recommend. oh we were like well at least we didn't get a roach. on our 3rd night what do we see on the wall???? a roach. but it was the only one. lol

Dirty hotel
If you don't mind to stay in a dirty hotel just to save money, than this hotel is for you. But if you expecting a nice clean room, bathroom, clean walls and to smell good you lot going to find that here! I will NEVER! Stay here again. It's don't worth to save that money I rather pay extra and sleep in a clean hotel. There's was 4 people in the room and they only gave us 1 towel.??? We had to asks for the other 3 towels. TERRIBLE

Roach was crawling on the night stand, I killed a water bug. One of the elevators as inoperable.Furniture and the lobby was badly worded. Furniture in the room was dated. Hair found on the bed and around the rim the bath tub.

Hotel needs updating
Annoying issues? There was a large stain on the carpet by the door. The pipes could be seen in the roof. The elevator at the front was not working so we walked to the secondary elevator. The back door had no swipe card so anyone could enter. People were in the pool at all hours. It just seems like it should be rated lower than a 3 star hotel. Printer in the business center wasnt working. The cleaning staff did not clean the room after the first night's stay. Biggest issue? The wifi cant reach the room we were in. The hotel is supposed to be free wifi but one of my phones couldnt get on and the the computer was extremely slow.

Beyond terrible
My boyfriend and I stayed from 8/2/17 - 8/12/17. First of fall, one of the two elevators was out of service the whole time, and from what I read from previous reviews, that has been out of service for quite some time now. It appeared they had no intention in fixing it. We used the stairs most of the time. Second, they withheld six hundreds from my account for whatever reason. I can understand withholding couple hundreds for in case of damages, but six hundreds?! They were two separate holdings too. When I asked the front desk, they said they had no idea because it only showed the hotel price that went thru, and they had no way of releasing it. After talking to my bank, I had to then had the hotel to fax over statement to my bank and asked them to release those holding amounts. This happens routinely apparently, because when I was talking to the front desk, there was a girl next to me who was more desperate because she said she would have no money to go back home with the amount they were holding. Third, the condition of the hotel and room is not up to standard. The carpet in the hallway are all bumpy. The back stairways is dirty, we saw chicken bone there one time. My boyfriend found a little bug on the bed, though it's not bedbug. I have also seen tiny little bug crawling on the bathroom wall couple times. Towels issue, one day we came back to find no towels left in our room. They didn't replace them even after we asked. We had to use our beach towels for couple days.
