My group and I tried airing out the house and putting up with it, but the stench in the back bedrooms was very bad. We were all getting nauseous. We had to relocate. The owner refused to refund our stay. Vrbo customer service is very poor. The host told us the previous tenants smoked in the house. While the host did offer to have cleaners come by the next day, we had already had to book a last minute different stay. The house was unprepared for our arrival. There is a lot of trash in the neighborhood and there lots of interesting people. However, the house is clean and adequate for a short stay. The hosts must have a problem with parties because they were very concerned and required to see my ID, requested credit card info, and demanded I sign an additional contract.
